This was our 2nd visit to the Marquis in the past 9 months. My wife and I usually vacationed in the Carribean and decided to change things up a little. In April of 2019 we made our first trip to San Jose Del Cabo and the Marquis. We absolutely loved it! We have never visited the same place twice but knew we'd be back. We were afraid the next trip wouldn't live up to the first one, but nine months later we were back and loved it just as much as the first time. The service at the Marquis is second to none, the food is great and the people who work there are fantastic...one of the reasons you will fall in love with this resort. Arturo, Alberto, Salvatore, Eladio and the rest of the pool crew will make sure that you have your favorite beverage and food all day long. Adrainia will greet you by name every morning with the biggest smile in Los Cabos when you have breakfast at the Vista Ballenas restaurant. For dinner we mainly frequented Pergola to enjoy the great food, but even moreso the service from Sagid who is the best waiter in the Baja and makes every meal remarkable. To sum it up....fantastic views, service, food, housekeeping and the excellent staff will make your Baja vacation one to remember.

Stayed at Marquis with my husband after Christmas. Overall, the resort was great. The hotel grounds are pretty. Service was exceptional. Good was good although the Italian restaurant was really great. One big issue is that one of the pools was freezing!! The weather was warm, not too hot which made the freezing pool beyond unbearable. As a result, the warm pool was overcrowded and not fun. Overall we had a positive experience just wish the pools had been in proper working order.

We vacationed with another couple for 4 nights at the Marquis Los Cabos. Our top floor ocean front rooms were side by side, as requested. We had wonderful views of the ocean and beautiful sunrises every morning. Despite the main highway being close, we could barely hear the noise. The service was excellent and the food ranged from average in the Mexican restaurant to above average in the Japanese restaurant. We ate twice in the Italian restaurant (because the Japanese restaurant was closed) and enjoyed our meals there, although not outstanding. Our rooms were comfortable, with a king bed and oddly oversized closet, with a small tv off to one side. The bathroom had nothing but a sheer curtain separating it from the bedroom. There were frosted glass doors on the walk in shower and water closet that were somewhat difficult to open. The balcony was quite small, with only two chairs and a table and a rail that was very low and would NOT be considered safe in the US. We sat in lounges on the beach and had no trouble finding someone to set us up each day. Overall,it was a very good experience, except for our transfers. We had pre-arranged private round trip transfers directly with the resort. When our Alaska Airlines flight was delayed over 6 hours, we called the concierge desk at the Marquis and spoke to Grace. We gave her our new flight number and arrival time. She said not to worry, she would let Transcabo know. However, when we finally arrived, the Transcabo rep still had our old flight info and we had to wait nearly half an hour (after traveling 12 hrs) for a car. I emailed the concierge desk at the resort and told them exactly what had happened, and they said they would check the call log and make an adjustment to our bill. When we checked out, we were charged full price for round trip transfers “because we were provided round trip transfers.” As a gesture of good will, it would have been nice to make some kind of adjustment to our bill, since Grace clearly did not notify Transcabo of our later arrival.

Love this magical place. Have been multiple times, and never disappointed. Has a simple, clean, easy-breezy way about it. Just the right amount of fun, entertainment and relaxation. Not the last time I will go either!
