My stay at Holiday Inn was not the best. First off I seen a roach crawling near the food, server smashed the roach and and brought it to his supervisor and said your friend is back again. We seen a baby lizard in the bathroom, the house keeper had a chip on her shoulder for some reason. My family and I didnt have wash clothes and I asked the house keeper for some, and she said with an attitude, I don't have any. I said what I'am suppose to shower with she didn't answer. We used the med size towels to shower with. The next day the same thing, this time I called front desk were they said ask house keeper. I explained I did, they immediately sent some up. Plus the house keeper stole our head pillows for the plane.

This is definitely a 2 or 3 star hotel. The food is meh and the same items are repeated daily with one or two changes. The restaurants are extremely hot with no AC. The fans are ineffective. I couldn't really enjoy my dinner because all I could think of was how hot it was. The staff are rude and look like they don't want to be there. With the exception of Gary the life guard. The lift to the rooms is unlike anything I have experienced in my entire existence. There is around a 3-4 minutes wait to get into the lift and once you get in, it is like entering a furnace without ventilation. The other option was to get the stairs which we only discovered on our penultimate day because signs to the stairs are not visible. I should also mention that the stairs smelt like pee. Now let's start with the rooms. The air conditioning in our room was really loud and ineffective which meant we were warm at night. We were placed on the fourth floor and we could hear the midday and evening entertainment. This mean't I couldn't take an early nap in the room or retire to my room early in the evening because the entertainment started at 12 noon till 4pm ish and in the evening from 8-10.30pm. I asked reception for a room change and the lady Shadae was really impolite. She told me to come back at 3pm the next day. This meant I had to endure another night of loud music. When I did go back the next day, they said they were going to move me to smaller room. At this point, I declined the offer because I didn't want to be in a smaller room and we only had a few days left on stay. The staff in this hotel are extremely impolite and they look like they don't want to be there. I have stayed in plenty hotels before and this has to be the worse of them all. The jerk hut and free water sports were our highlights and ultimately saved this place. Overall I wouldn't stay here again. My entire customer journey wasn't pleasant. The front desk staff are unwelcoming, unfriendly and look fed up.

My boyfriend and I missed our stand by flight and had to book a room to stay overnight. We decided to book a night here since it was pretty close to the airport. We were exhausted from being at the airport all day and finally made it to this resort. We walked in with no greeting got to the front desk where we smiled and were greeted with attitudes. I continued to smile and be polite and gave the name for the reservation. The woman rudely said she saw nothing in the system. I tried to show her the confirmation but she interrupted me and asked when we booked the room. I let her know it was only about an hour or so before we got there and explained that all the flights were oversold so we couldn't get on and that we were having a rough day. She did not acknowledge any of that and just said 'passports'. She took our passports to the back for about 20 minutes then finally returned and handed them back. I asked her if she found the reservation she said yes. I asked her how her day was going (thinking maybe she had a rough day that was causing her rudeness) and she said busy...at this point I was to tired to continue to be overly pleasant when she clearly didnt appreciate it. She gave us no receipt and asked for $4 for taxes... she hands us keys and points us to where we go to get to our room. We get to the room and it smells bad and is really gross. The tv barely worked and the coffee pot wasn't brewing. A woman came by with a clip board and asked how we liked the room we told her the coffee pot was broken and there was no sound on some tv channels. She took the coffee maker and brought another one and just told us to watch a different channel. I asked if we could switch rooms and she said she didnt know. We were too tired to do anything else so we just grabbed food and went to bed. It was the worst experience I have ever had at a resort. I am so glad I didnt stay here my whole trip.

Absolutely fantastic resort There is never a good time to do renovations, but the hotel is constantly striving to improve the hotel & facilities without to much disruption to the guests. They even installed a temporary bar at the adult end, while swim up bar was being refurbished. The staff are all amazing and make everyone feel like part of a family, not just another guest to serve. The food is very good at all the restaurants. Jerk after dark is a MUST DO. Excellent food and service. I would like to say a very big thank you to customer services manager,Mrs Winsome Hooper. General manager Mr Clark Lobban. For all they do to make this resort so special. Also to Nashay James,Latoya Reid, Cheril Wollery and Joseph Smith for the great service and laughs we shared . See you next year xxx
