We love Couples Tower Isles as it is one of our go to hotels for great food and service. It was our first time at Couples Negril and we will certainly be back. Excellent service and all round a great experience.

We just got back from Jamaica and truly enjoyed our time there! The staff: so wonderful and kind!! Very careful with health code! Everyone wore masks and made you sanitize your hands before entering a restaurant. Diving: the diving was great! We dove 2-3 times a day! The Sea life was a little sub par but that had nothing to do with the resort! Diving crew was awesome! Golf: slightly disappointed with the course but more in conflict with the reviews I had read. Plus we understand that COVID has had a major impact on the course. But the golf experience was easy and seamless. Food: the food was good! It wasn’t the best thing ever but it was nice and we also realize that they had limited menus as well due to COVID. Highly recommend Couples Resort Negril. Also shout out to Ruth at TripGuy for planning our whole trip! She made it seamless and so easy! We didn’t have to think about a thing!

This was our first time staying at Couples Negril and it will not be our last. We have stayed at Swept Away a couple of times and atmosphere and service is comparable to Couples Negril but without the traffic noise one gets at Swept Away. We travelled just after Jamaica required negative Covid 19 test within 72 hours of arrival. We were fortunate to be able to get the test and the result came in the day before travel. Getting thru the airport was a breeze and we were on our way to Negril within 45 minutes of deplaning. Check-in was easy and we were given a garden view room on the third floor. Easy short walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. Couples Negril is a small hotel, approx. 235 rooms, which we like. The hotel was approx. 30% occupied as they had only opened on July 1st and the service and attention from all levels of employees was wonderful. The lavish breakfast and lunch buffets are no more. All restaurants are now al a carte with plenty of selection and the menus change daily except for the Beach Grill which is the same all the time. We ate in all the restaurants and our favorite was Otaheite, their fine dining restaurant. Lychee for Asian Cuisine was great; we ate there twice and the Italian at Heliconia was great too. We did not join in any of the activities but there was plenty going on. We just walked the beach and relaxed. All the nearby hotels had not yet opened so we had the beach to ourselves. The beach was kept very clean and there was plenty of loungers and floats. It was nice to go down to the beach and not find reserved loungers from the wee hours of the morning! Housekeeping was fine and our minibar was well stocked. All in all a very enjoyable stay. This hotel was exactly what were looking for (smaller on a nice beach for walking with good food selections and very attentive staff).

This was our first time to Jamaica and we were impressed. The drive from airport to hotel was and hour and 1/2. Long drive by worth it. This vacation almost didn't happen due to COVID since we had to push our visit from June to July. Resort is smaller but beautiful. Front desk was friendly and welcoming. Our check in was a breeze and we were off to our room in no time. Our mini bar was fully stocked and we did ordered mini bar refill a few time while we were their. Refill delivery was less than 15 mins. While we were there, most guess we met were mixed of all ages. Some were newlywed in their 20s and some were in their 40s and 50s but over all age range were a great mix. Even with COVID, the hotel capacity was probably around 20% or less. We didn't mind the smaller crowd since the staff provided us incredible hospitality and we felt like we got personal attention from the staff. We were able to enjoy majority of the amenities without the crowd and get to know the staff personally. ROOM: We were given room 1305 on 3rd floor with garden and pond/fountain view; which we enjoyed very much during breakfast on the balcony. Love the sound of tree frogs and night creatures at night and enjoyed bird watching during breakfast. (Just need bug spray since mosquitoes love me) Our building is located in the middle of everything, short walk to beach, restaurants, shops and activities. Housekeepers kept our room nice and clean with different towel animal each day (love it). It was great!! ACTIVITIES: Gym: fully equip for any type of workout. My husband and another couple that we travel with worked out at the gym each morning. Water sports (all inclusive): we did sailing, water ski, knee boarding, sailing, kayak, paddle board, glass bottom boat ride, catamaran, swimming in the pirate cave and scuba diving. My husband and our 2 travel companion are now certified diver. All thanks to Suga (Master Diver)! Since I can’t swim, Suga was able to provide me a private swimming lesson. Just need more practice and I’ll be back next time for my diving certification. Big thanks to Suga, William, Milton, Byron, Rayon (there are more guys there but I can’t think of their name at this moment - sorry) they were all great! I think we spent most of our time at the water sport. FOOD: Lychee was our top restaurant, enjoyed their lobster night. Monique was great and always has fresh Jamaican peppers for us when ask. The rest of staff at Lychee was great too. They were all super friendly and attentive. Otaheite was our 2nd best, enjoyed the food and all the staff were wonderful as well. Love their soup and also provided us fresh Jamaican pepper. We love super hot food and they do provided everything we’ve asked for. Heliconia was ok for our liking, Odean was our server the few time we dine there. Service was great and attentive was excellent. Food was lacking to our taste bud but it’s the only place I can get my beef and chicken patty (my favorite) so it’s ok. Beach Grill was ok as well; their menu doesn’t change besides the pizza. It was filling food for us when other restaurant was close. Fruit and veggie bar: love their fresh juice with ginger, they provide different flavor fresh juice each day. Love it! Their hummus and banana chip are our go to snack while in the pool or a quick snack. very refreshing. We went to Office of Nature for fresh lobster and crab (it’s not part of the resort). It was good but not great. It’s over priced in my opinion. If you decide to go, remember to take bug spray. My legs were attacked by millions of sand flea. I came back to the resort with red itchy dots all over my legs. BAR: Can’t say no to alcohol. Big shout out to Charles and Kasher! Their drinks and shots were great! Charles in charge knows exactly what type of drink we would enjoy and he never fails. Kasher and his Bob Marley shots! Yummm and our all time favorite JAMAICAN DESSERT shot – delicioso!! Our overall experiences were great; we enjoyed our 7 days stayed. All the staff was wonderful and attentive. Housekeepers kept our room nice and clean with different towel animal each day (love it). Activities coordinator did try their best to keep all the entertainment on schedule as much as possible with only 20% or less capacity of guess. We were able to enjoy the auction, sand volleyball, cooking class, circus sol le type show with fire throwing and beach party. We enjoyed it and thanks to all the staff and coordinator.
