My adult daughter and I stayed at the Castle Inn and Suites on Harbor Blvd from Sep 4-10, 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. When we arrived around 2 p.m. on Sept 4 and we were pleasantly surprised to be given our room keys right away. We were in room 334, about 1/2 way down the long block of rooms. I was a little nervous about viewing the room as I'd read a few reviews that it was dated and musty in some rooms. Our room smelled slightly of bleach when entering but we just opened the door for a few minutes and the smell dissipated. I would prefer if they used more environmentally friendly cleaners, but understand it's inexpensive and effective. The room was very clean and roomy with two queen beds, two small tables with 3 chairs between them, a reasonable size TV, microwave and fridge. The fridge was just cold enough and not adjustable, but we managed as we only needed it mainly for water. The bathroom was very clean, although the shower was a bit weak at times and sometimes the temperature fluctuated a bit while showering. It was quiet compared to some pricier hotels we've stayed at. A bit of noise from the floors above, but couldn't hear anything from the rooms beside us. We had booked this room months ahead and when I noticed a price reduction online a few days before we went, we emailed and they quickly adjusted our reservation with no problem. We also had 3 family members come from San Diego and Oxnard to visit for one night and when we asked about the parking situation for their vehicles, the hotel staff advised it would be free dependent on availability and there was paid parking at the hotel next door if not. We were lucky and there was availability and we had a wonderful visit with our family. We had also emailed previous to our visit about this matter and they were very quick and responsive to our emails. We didn't swim in the pool but did sit in the pool area to visit with our family. They provide lounge chairs and it's basic but comfortable. I found the staff very nice and friendly, from the front desk to the maintenance and cleaning staff. I was greeted every time I saw a staff member and they were very helpful with any questions I had to ask. The hotel is a quick walk to the Disney Parks and to the Convention Center where my daughter attended a weekend event. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Thanks

We stayed in an executive suite on the second floor. Large room with nice decor and very well maintained and clean. The room was very dark due to the way exterior walls are on the second floor which would probably be different on other floors. Would also probably be a good thing in the heat! Only wee gripe is the extremely loud air con unit, I would wake up in the night and think I was in the middle of a storm or something. We arrived very early and didn’t expect to get a room at that time but they did give us one which was awesome. The laundry is very convenient next to the pool so you can swim while doing your laundry. Parking was so easy, right outside the rooms, a big plus compared to hotel car parking where you often have to walk miles. Reservations were excellent to deal with, prompt and helpful and efficient for my many queries. We also stayed at Disneyland hotel and I’d say the walk to the Disney gates was very similar from both.

We only booked for one night, arrived in Anaheim in the morning to finish the check-in, because we have not yet arrived, we put the luggage in the storage and then went to Disneyland. The location is really close, about 10 minutes walk. In the evening, I ordered a takeaway, and the takeaway was also placed at the front desk. The next morning, I packed my bags and returned the room to the luggage storage at the front desk. The attitude of the service staff was also very good. All in all was a pleasant stay.

We arrived late (10:30 pm) on a Friday night and found check-in quick and easy. Our room was hot when we arrived as the A/C was off but after turning it on for 30 mins it cooled down. Room, beds, and the bathroom were clean. Parking was easy and when we asked if we could park until 6 pm the next day this was accommodated. The walk to Disney was about 10 mins and was very easy.
