I bought points from a DVC member in order to stay here. The rooms were decorated nice and spacious. We had a 2 bedroom suite. The view we had was of the same 2 ostriches one MALE zebra and a cow with huge horns. We could see the place they keep the giraffes but they were never aloud in our area. There was no eating area other than the Sanaa restaurant which serves African food. So we had to buy groceries to eat in the room. There was a small gift shop also. The pool was small and not heated. It did have two slides for the little ones. The transportation to the parks was fine. Nothing special.

    Great Concept!!

Stayed for a weekend recently in a Savanna view room. Loved the savanna view and the views of animals from the balcony. Disney runs the property efficiently and provides great service. The only reason for the 4 rating is that the room decor and bed were in need of an update. Room was very clean though.

    Great Resort, bad mattress.

The majority of my stay was excellent. Friendly service from Castmembers, great food at Sanaa restaurant, and incredible views of all Animals on property. My only complaint is that I did not have a great sleep experience. The mattress in my room lacked support. I’m 5’6”, 170 lbs and I sank in the mattress as if I was 300lbs. I tried my best to balance everything by resting my head on a folded bath towel. I didn’t want to bother the staff on trying to switch to a different room considering they probably had to make major adjustments because of COVID. All I could say is watch out for room 4709, but the rest of the resort was great!

    Home!

Absolutely love it here. The atmosphere is the best. Even if you don't get a savannah view room, there are so many places throughout the resort to see the savannah. Take a night time safari ride on site, roast marshmallows at the fire, play games at the pool. Far more laid back than Jambo. We love it here.

Loved our week stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Kadani Village. We had a one bedroom suite that was very roomy for a family of 4. The kids each had a foldable bed and a bathroom so parents had a huge bathroom and king bed room for ourselves. My only issue w the resort was the outdated appliances in the villa. The dishwasher was really loud so could only be run while we were gone. The washer and dryer could also use an upgrade. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the needed utensils except a pizza cutter... The pan was also pretty bad as it was not non stick... other that those two tiny things the room was comfortable. We did not pay for a savanna view as it was an extra $500 a night and felt we didn’t even spend that much daylight in the room. If you are planning on spending time in the room then it’s worth it. Otherwise there are plenty of areas where you can see the animals from the lobby, restaurant and around the pool area. All the animal lookouts have a cast member ready to answer questions about the animals... very cool. They pool area is really nice, they have a slide for “big” kids and a tiny slide for babies. As always life guards are on top of things and they had pool entertainment for all to enjoy. They also have a restaurant/bar near by. They fitness center a also very nice. They have an underground self parking area that worked really nice as we drove to all the parks. Not sure how the busses were running as we avoided them due to covid. Because of covid we didn’t venture out around the resort as everything was closed but we would definitely consider staying again. Felt really safe given the pandemic times; our room was not cleaned during the 6 days we were there they only came by to replace towels and take trash half way through our stay.... we were okay with that. I’m sure you could request more cleaning? But not sure.
