    First family outing post vaccines and we knew there would be limited services and possibly other issues related to staffing-up for the first crowd in a year. We under-estimated how stretched the hotel would be. The Bad: Plan on using Door Dash. After a 1 hour wait for our continental breakfast, we waited another hour plus before leaving without food. A minor riot was occurring at the check-in line as guests, who had been waiting over an hour saw seated guest leave after 90 minutes with no food. Felt bad for the staff, but they need to be more honest about the wait times. We waited over an hour last night for a salad and poke. Poke was disgusting, room temperature freezer-burned tuna, with room temperature mayonnaise sauce. The front desk representative at the Elite desk was trying to act as if everything was normal and not being helpful. I’d rather know how to navigate the property if you need to wait 90 plus minutes for food, than try to act like everything is fine. Big pool is DISGUSTING. My 12 and 14 year old won’t swim in it. They’re swimming in the adult pool at night. The grounds are dirty. Filthy, like a cheap holiday-inn on spring break in Florida. Majority of people, and many staff don’t wear masks. The Good: The adult pool is relaxing and my kids are happy to be in a pool. Most staff are very nice and they’re working hard to do their best in a challenging situation. They’re very dog friendly

    The hotel itself could be a fantastic hotel. It is very tired looking....I heard that they are starting a remodel...it is needed....the service was the worst. I understand in Covid times how hotels are doing things differently...but, this hotel was very wish washy in how they carried things out.....for instance...there was no way that they would clean your room....even though the hotel tv said that if you requested it, they would do it. My family had executive suites....we needed the sofa bed. the first night I looked for sheets, pillows and blankets...when I called and (after waiting 20 minutes for the call to be answered) I was told that they only had sheets. Because of Covid, they didn't have the staff.!! It was Easter/Spring Break....why don't you get the staff? The hotel was sold out...you should have the staff to do the laundry. Because that is why they couldn't give us the pillows, blankets etc...the staff didn't have time to wash them....Why? they weren't cleaning the room....when I requested the sheets...it took over an hour to arrive...my son requested a port a crib....it arrived the NEXT MORNING! Why again? For this inconvenience they offered $50 off the stay....that's not even half enough...plus, they said they'd have garbage bags...none in my room...they said they'd deliver more towels...never came...they offered more soap and shampoo...never arrived...they never came through on anything... At the pool on Saturday...it was crazy! Spring Break gone wild...my daughter talked to the manager who was walking around...when she complained how crowded it was in these covid times...he said " they seem to be all having fun".. They didn't have enough lounge chairs...we sat on the grass...When my daughter brought up our room concerns to the manager...talking about the sofa bed, towels etc....he said "are they really needed?" What kind of condescending answer is that? of course they are needed...and we paid a good price for it. They offered the $50 off...it should have been much more. Also at the pool....as you walk in....no dogs allowed signs...there were so many dogs at the pool...one threw up right in front of me...I heard a lady say she wanted to put her dog in the pool...another manager said...I guess the rules changed? This hotel could be nice, it has a great lay out....they charge like it's a luxury hotel....it's not....theyve let it go to the dogs and don't seem to care what the actual hotel guests think.

    After years of staying here and the property being a long standing tradition for our family I cannot recommend this hotel any more. I am a Lifetime Platinum member and despite COVID will make Titanium this year. As for the COVID protocols enforcement.... mostly non-existent. I get it by the pool in your group or dining. Wandering around, standing in line at the coffee shop, Playing games in the game room. Freaking wear a mask. We have stayed a couple of times now during the pandemic and gave the property a lot of slack due to the pandemic and our love of the place in the past. Some of the staff are trying, especially the pool food service folks and the cart drivers on the grounds but the rest of the property is a mess. Strewn throughout the property are trash cans overfilled,. We had one of these outside our room on check in. Despite asking them to empty and remove these horrible looking and smelling plastic cans.... ours remained overflowing up until we checked out 3 days later. We called to complain because large roaches were in our room and undoubtably causing the roaches. We asked 5 times to have them removed and emptied and nothing. The rooms are very due for an update and this is not happening soon enough. Even the towels are aging poorly... Paint chipping off walls, Doors that stick, and cigarette butts all over. On check in I asked about the continental breakfast and was told we would have this as our platinum amenity. On arrival at the restaurant, no continental options. No vegetarian options. Not Westin. For what we spend on stays here on the desert, you can do much better.

    NEVER STAY HERE!!!

    NEVER STAY HERE!!!! As a frequent Marriott visitor, I am appalled by the condition of this hotel. The rooms are disgusting, hair on the floor, crusted food on the phone, dirt on the glass table and more!! On top of this we waited over an hour and a half after check in time for our room and they ran out of roll away beds even though we requested it earlier. But that's not the worst part, we were LIED to by the staff on MULTIPLE occasions. Regarding the status of the room and even who the manager was. I am absolutely appalled, I am never stating here again and I am calling the health department!!

    Beautiful resort but lacking in service

    The resort grounds are absolutely beautiful. The first day was spend at the main pool. It was very crowded and we ordered lunch and it took a hour to get our food. The second day we decided to go to the adult pool. We arrived and we could tell that it had not been cleaned from the prior day. We thought when we came back from breakfast it would be cleaned. It was not. The pool deck had stains and trash. The bathrooms were not cleaned either. It was a warm day and wanted to open the umbrella which we noticed had to pin. We were told to look for the nail on the ground to put in to open. The pool was freezing and was not heated. No one could go in the water. We ordered lunch again and was told that it would be a hour. This is not up to Westin standards. We were so excited to finally be able to return to the Westin. I don't think we will be returning
