Covid pandemic cancelled a cruise...needed a getaway place. Found this gem of a property. Have stayed at other Dreams properties, but this one was great! Food was varied and good at all the different restaurants and temp checks and hand sanitizer was always at the check-in/hostess stand. Had a plunge pool room with garden view...would do this again Sundry store was a little pricey, though. Pool was great - ocean was raked daily for seaweed and lifeguards were present always. A wonderful and relaxing vacation....

This was our second Dreams trip, first was to Tulum. Riveria is better than Tulum, the pools are better! Staff is exceptional and all are hardworking and friendly. COVID: I was scared about COVID but the staff all wear masks and sanitize like crazy! Not all guests wear masks but it’s ok because we are outside. FOOD Food is good, not great. But it is enough and it’s an all inclusive! If you want better food, don’t go all inclusive. I never went hungry and they do a great job. Love the coffee shop. Only need a reservation for hibachi which was fun! El Patio is my fave and the French restaurant. Daniel made it a great meal with those French martinis! Men, pack a pair of pants so you can get into the French restaurant which is adult only. PREFERRED CLUB I think it’s worth it. You get a free cabana (reserve when you arrive), a special lounge with snacks at all times and premium liquor. You also get spa credits, go! Spa was great. ROOMS Rooms are great, however walls are thin. But so is every other hotel! KIDS CLUB My kids are 7 and 9 and they didn’t care for it. There are fun activities for them to do there. ENTERTAINMENT The light up dance show was amazing! The team is really great in engaging people to join games and such. Victor is great! They all are! I liked the outdoor movies for the kids. BeACH They work so hard to remove seaweed. It looked great. I would encourage you to tip the staff during these hard times. No it isn’t required but it is much appreciated.The resort was at 30% capacity.

This resort and the staff were absolutely incredible!!! The resort was so clean and they were taking all measures to ensure a sanitized environment for everyone. The Staff truly made this experience one of the best trips we have ever had! Octavio was one of the first staff members we met and he made every dinner, every night SO special! it felt like he went out of his way to ensure a superior culinary experience for not only us, but all the guest & families. Alberto was just wonderful! He was always so pleasant and constantly checked on us throughout each day and really made us feel special! Israel was also amazing, and just truly went above & beyond to ensure or enjoyment & comfort! Each morning we went to the coffee shop, Mayra made my coffee extra special with a cute heart or flower. Which was always such a treat after a fabulous breakfast with Ivonne & Guillermo. This was followed by the most fun water aerobics program with Alex. Santiago & Alberto at the beach bar were also just great at keeping you happy & your drinks coming! All of the food was just delicious and the presentation was perfection! Housekeeping did a top notch job of keeping everything in pristine shape! We are UVC Members and could go to any of their other resorts, but the staff here IS the reason we WILL be coming back to Dreams Riviera.

Our stay at Dreams Rivera Cancun was amazing!!! What really made our trip special was how friendly the work staff was. They us feel at home & safe. I want to give a few shout-outs because these guys went above and beyond. Vincente, Victor, & Aristeo from poolside, Stephanie & Victor from entertainment team, Emmanuel & Amir from the French/Hibachi restaurant, & last but not least Azucena the lobby waitress! They all made sure we were well taken care of and truly are the reason we would come back to this resort. I’ve been to multiple resorts and this ones staff is at the top.

It was wonderful, amazing, one of my best travel ever. I have been in many five star hotels and I visited more that 20 country. It was one of my best trips. Oh my god we had such peaceful and calm moment there. This hotel is like a peace of paradise but in the earth. Its front pool to the beach is something amazing. I 100 percent assure you that you will never regrets for the money you will spent to stay in this hotel. It is TOTALLY worth it. It was amazing experience . Foods are amazing. Staff are so kind. Services are great. Oh god cleaning you cant imagine how they are clean. Try their massage and their photography services as well.
