    Horrible Hotel. Go somewhere else.

    Honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. From the rude snobby staff to the overpriced horrible coffee. We got there starving and not feeling well from all of the traveling. Room not ready, but as we sat there waiting we saw many many people check in early. Was able to grab a small breakfast snack from the rude guy at the breakfast bar (1 hard boiled egg, two horrible small coffees, one can of sprite and a yogurt for $33). I asked about the gym, $25 per day, have to make reservations and only open from 8am until noon, wow... Room was really cramped, bed uncomfortable. For the price stay somewhere else. You were warned...

    $400- Not worth It

    For $400 (including a $30 urban fee), this hotel is overpriced. The bathrooms are very small. For half the price and the same location (across the street), the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins is roughly the same (another family member stayed there). Save your money

    This is a beautiful building with great location in Nob hill San Francisco. The valet are doing an excellent job in keeping the appearance. But once you are inside, it is a mausoleum with barely personal for anything. There is a gloomy atmosphere on the hotel accentuated by everything being closed inside. The main restaurant recently reopen for few hours a day with limited services on an improvised part of the lobby. The hallway with black and white picture next to the shops and art galleries resemble a brighter era that is gone. If you are looking for luxury and special treatment, this is not the place. Furthermore, If you are looking for comfortable upscale accommodation, the fairmont is overvalue and outdated.

    Elegant Hotel, with amazing views of the City and Bay from the tower rooms. The corner suites are very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out and interact with family. The food service is very limited now but was great pre-covid.

    Coming to SF to spend some quality time has become my routine. The choice of lodging has always been Fairmont San Francisco. I have been a fan of Fairmont since I was converted by the excellent Gold floor staff in Fairmont Pacific Rim, and the service one can expect at Fairmont San Francisco is equally excellent with friendly staff and welcoming environment. The staff would go out of their way to make sure all of my needs are taken care off. For instance, the upgrade to Golden Gate suite was full when I checked in, so I wanted to do a mid-stay upgrade since I was going to be there for four nights. I switched on the third night and Fairmont waived all upgrade fees. What a nice surprise. Signature Golden Gate suites have views that are unparalleled! One thing to note is that the breakfast is a bit basic during the health crisis and the restaurant downstairs only served simple grab and go items. I noticed enhanced screening for temperature checks and cleaning standards to ensure the safety of guests and staff. I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
