Wonderful week at Beaches TCI!
mark o (Timonium, Maryland) on Mar 16, 2024
We were guests at Beaches TCI for the first time from 3/2-9, two rooms, Seaside one bedroom villas for four adults and one child age 4. All of the amenities are first rate, with great water sports available, nice beaches and multiple pools. We never had a problem finding a seat, and enjoyed the beautiful water. Food was really good (we travel often and can be critical, but found very little to complain about). There are 23 restaurants, we tried about 10. If you can't find something you like here, you never will. My only complaint was the poor selection of Gin provided; they can do better with even less expensive brands. It is easy to get around the resort by walking. Shows looked interesting, but we didn't participate except for one and it was very good. The water part is super for kids of all ages, and there is seemingly lots do to for teens. Airport shuttle is ok; just a large van. We did Sky pass on the way in, which was a good decision, but found that we did not need it on the way out (it was a Monday afternoon. If you need a cab service, check out Solid Gold. We used them twice, and Clifton and Chan were superb, and have very clean vans/cars. Here are the folks who helped us enjoy our first visit and are thus encouraging for a return. Housekeeping: MARION is fantastic. She worked hard to be sure we were well taken care of, our room was immaculate, and was always engaging and friendly. She was particularly supportive of our 4 year old. Also Joe (?) who helped us with our bags when the bellman did not come. Great personality and energy! These folks are noteworthy: Concierge: Patrice goes above and beyond to help. QU is fantastic, Jerry and Kelens very helpful. JEMIMA is a ROCKSTAR. Very helpful throughout our stay. Servers: Habbi-Gail at Schooners can handle 9 tables and still be effective and friendly!! Fantastic! Samie at Neptunes, always smiling and supportive. Also Daishca and Jamesly at Schooners. Nadine is a great hostess. Shion also at Neptunes and Rose is a great hostess. Lilliette was fantastic at Bayside. Lourdes was very helpful at Neptunes. Vanessa at Reflections buffet. Fun at tie dye with Oshane, Roshane, Unsiel and Emily. Very nice and friendly. IF you do tie dye, bring your own white shirt; they are expensive here. Everyone was generally very friendly and supportive. If you smile, say hello to everyone , they will respond in kind. We loved our week here. Thanks to all the folks mentioned and many others!
Never Again

My family has gone on roughly 10 vacations since my kids were little, and this by far was the worst. There are some good things - the weather was really nice, the beaches and water are incredible. But the service here is horrible - not everyone - some of the staff is quite good, but a good 30-40% of the people are just bad, they will lie to your face, and clearly don't want to be there. The food is worse. The food here is horrendous... like worst meals of your life horrendous. I thought bad food on vacation would be like the free food they give you at discount hotels... no. This was more like middle school cafeteria lunch public school food.
Beware on the beach!!!!!

My wife and I have been to 3 different Sandals locations and Beaches Turks and Caicos and have had great experiences at all of the resorts. This year, we decided to bring our 4 kids, and my mother, to Beaches Turks and Caicos with us during the last week of February, but unfortunately had a less than desirable experience. While sitting on the resort beach, we were approached by a local vendor with a dog. This did not seem abnormal, as this beach was very vendor heavy this time we stayed. The local chatted with us briefly and then ran off. Shortly after he left, I realized my phone was missing. We looked all around and could not find it. My wife checked for my location, and the phone had been shut off. This is when we realized the man who approached us had stolen my phone. I spoke to security; they knew who the man (Madu) was, said that he often has run-ins with the police, and told me there’s nothing that they could do. 30 minutes later, my wife spotted the man still walking on the beach. Two security guards were chatting with him, so she approached them to see where the phone was. Security was being friendly with this man and not asking questions regarding the theft, so my wife stated to security that this was the man who stole our phone. At this point, they were standing on resort property, in front of the dive shop. The local man became irate at my wife, threatened to harm her, and screamed profanities in her face. Security did not escort this man off property and allowed him to scream obscene and inappropriate things at her for several minutes before she was able to walk away. We were told that the beach is a public beach, they cannot force him to leave, and he is able to continue coming back as he pleases and interacting with guests. After the interaction he had with my wife, we felt extremely unsafe continuing to be on the beach, especially with our 4 kids. We were forced to spend our days at the pool for the rest of our trip, because they assured us he could not come up on property. We come to the islands for the beaches, not for the pools- we can swim in pools at home and save $25,000. The phone was turned on and tracked to the other side of the island later that evening. After showing security a picture of the house and exact location of phone. Informed us that it was not safe for them to send people to that side of the island to retrieve it. There was nothing we could do at that point and we realized we would not be getting it back. Security made us feel less than safe on the beach, our concerns fell on deaf ears, and we felt very dissatisfied and disappointed with how the entire situation was handled….
Already booked next year!

Already booked next year! The most relaxing trip we’ve ever taken. Top notch. No wait from airport to hotel. Cold wet towels, fresh juice and champagne upon arrival. Stunning beach. Book a free sitting fee beach photo session, packages or individual available for purchase. Rooftop was such an amazing photographer we booked him for a morning and an evening session!! Incredible food, always a seat to a max 5 min wait. Make your reservations for the hibachi restaurant kimonos when you arrive in the lobby of your hotel. We did Mario’s buffet for a breakfast and dinner, Soys for sushi for two diners, kimonos for dinner (tell them when they take your drinks what you want to have so they can bring extra vegetarian (tofu) or shrimp/fish if pescatarian. You can always bring back food to room anytime if kiddos or adults get hungry in between). Utilized the game hut for board games, enjoyed the water park every day and sometimes twice a day! Night swims at the Italian pool (heated so lovely). Many multi generation groups some as big as 48. Can’t wait for next spring break!
Dive Center is TOPS!

We had a wonderful trip. My wife and daughter were able to enjoy the beach and pool while I took part in the scuba diving. The weather was not the greatest and called off a few days of diving during out trip. Mark Healey the watersports manager was able to assist me with getting the most out of my trip and help me after my trip was done as well. All the staff at the dive center were very friendly and try to give the best experience as possible.
