My family was there for my wife's 50th birthday celebrations. The location is amazingly clean with great landscaping and great friendly staff. This was a great experience despite the Covid 19 restrictions. Rooms are clean, property immaculately kept, room service big hit with family, food was good though limited selection possibly due to covid 19. Staff rather helpful and polite. Having refreshments stacked in our fridge was good. Would recommend this Hotel chain every time.

Can not say enough about how wonderful, professional and personable the staff were at this resort. Our personal Butlers : Maureen, Neil and Marlyne were above and beyond! Norline and many others great!

Awful service. If you want to pay Sandals price for a 1 star hotel treatment, go here. If not, find a different location (St Lucia one is amazing (;) Every time we ordered a drink or food, it felt like we were asking them to do us a favor. Sometimes, we even got eyes rolled at us. We witnessed a worker complain and say no when a guest asked for their sandwich to go. Our toilet broke and we called at 7pm - we were told someone would be there shortly. At 9pm i walked over to the desk IN THE RAIN to ask for someone again (because the phone was not working). No one came. At 7am, i went back to the desk and no one came. At 8AM, 13 HOURS after, I had to complain and they eventually switched our rooms. It then took them 8 hours to bring our bags over, when they said it would be done shortly. Every restaurant requires a reservation, but by 9am everything is full. Not every restaurant is open everyday and even though they give out pamphlets to say which restaurant is open when, they still change it and don't let anyone know. So don't expect the 11 restaurants that they they advertise. The vendors on the beach are just relentless and won't take no for an answer. They are allowed to harass the guests through the gates, so even when you are walking inside the resort, expect vendors to keep calling you for your attention. Cleaning service is awful. Our room smelled bad AFTER they came in to clean it. Go figure... I was there for some of the really bad rain, when everything flooded with sewage water (yes, people had to walk through sewage water), and management was bad. Left the guests with no entertainment, with only two restaurants open (one of them being the pub) - so you can only imagine the full resort trying to eat at the same place at the same time. I still can't believe this resort didn't have any procedures of what to do for the guests in bad rain. Anyway, overall it was just bad. Even before the rain came service was bad so it's not like the rain is what made it bad (it just made it worse). And yes, I spoke to management and contacted the resort via "loop". Nothing came out of it. So again, don't go here. Spend your time, money and vacation somewhere else.

We had an incredible time in Antigua. It was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays I've had. It was great to be reminded of a more normal life with Covid!! Hotel and staff made me feel safer there than anywhere else. Staff across the whole resort were really friendly and helpful. More restaurants closed than usual based on occupancy but they were quick to adapt the schedule to those more in demand. SOY We have never been sushi lovers so avoided Soy on previous Sandals trips. Decided to give it a go this time and WOW!! We feel we have been missing out now! George, Jessica and Joven made a fab team. We sat at the bar and they were so good at suggesting things for us to try. George made some off menu specials which were sooo good - he should definitely be allowed to put his own items on the menu, can't speak highly enough of his creations! Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

This was one of the few Sandals properties that I had not visited so I was happy for the opportunity to visit the island as well as the resort. Let me start by saying that the staff is what helps make this resort special, everyone is welcoming and friendly. The entertainment team is great and they love to party with the guest, which is a bunch of fun. We arrived right after the horrible rain storm that they experienced so we were the lucky ones because everything was up and running again with the exception of the main pool. The food was good. I'm not a big sushi lover but I must say that I enjoyed the selections at Soy. I made a stop at the hot dog cart everyday for a dog with delicious toppings. Special mention to Lydia at Courtyard Bistro who made our trip special with kindness and going above and beyond. Many have commented about the vendors on the beach and while I totally understand that some were a bit pushy we should all understand that the struggle is real for them and with Covid impacting tourism the visitors are their bread and butter, most of them are kind and will engage you with conversation and will take a polite no thank you if you are not interested in purchasing anything. Its important to remember that this is a public beach and you are a visitor to their home. I was not too impressed with the Antigua compared to others islands I have been to, but if I do return I would definitely stay at Sandals.
