I truly enjoyed this property. The views from my ocean view room were breathtaking. The beach area was well maintained. There was minimal seaweed. The infinity pool was my favorite part though. The larger pool was excellent for smaller children. They are able to walk in the first couple of feet due to the low level of the water. The food at the pool bar was amazing. My only negative was one of the hostess at the breakfast restaurant. Although the food was delicious, upon my first morning to dine in her attitude was terrible. Michelle greeted everyone in front of my friend and me warmly. We stood in line 10 min. When we arrived to the front she glared at us without speaking. I had to ask her if everything was okay before she would speak. She then stated we weren’t properly dressed. I had on shorts and a bathing suit cover up. Her demeanor and delivery were rude and disrespectful. No posted signage stated bathing suits couldn’t be seen in the dining area which is fine. However, the manner in which she spoke was unbecoming of the Hilton Brand.

Best service, best value for money, best location.

Staff at the Hilton were very accommodating and super helpful. I stayed here for 1 week and found the location perfect. Walking distance to Carlise Bay which is one of the nicest beach on the island and the hotel itself has a great beach to relax on. Close to all the good food spots and a short taxi to popular spots like Oistins and St Lawrence Gap. I had an ocean view room and it was amazing to wake up to the beach every morning. Highly recommend,

First time in Barbados and I picked this Hotel for our stay. Firstly, I must commend staff. Always outreaching and available to help and genuinely caring about guests’ wellbeing. I really struggle to understand some of the negative comments in previous reviews on staff. We had a renovated room in the Tower wing (fifth floor). The room was nice, well appointed and well kept. Room cleaning also impeccable. Pool area is quite large but places fill up fast in the morning, so do the ones on the beach. Useful tip: being early birds pays dividends! Restaurants are well appointed but menu choices are limited and, like many fellow reviewers already said, unnecessarily overpriced. Our final bill is mitigated by the fact we originally booked an executive room with lounge access (now closed for good) so we got vouchers for breakfast and nibbles. Without those we would have spent an extra $1000! On the plus side, there are a number of street food joints alongside nearby (300 steps away) Pebbles beach so you can have savoury snacks for a fraction of what the Hotel charges. Finally the Hotel beaches. There are three beaches: one to the far left, one to the centre, and one to the right. In the latter you will find calmer waters but quite some rocks too! If surfing is your thing, the beach to the far left is your place.

    Portion control!

Arriving in Bridgetown on a public holiday meant we were struggling to find an open restaurant to eat so we walked up to the Hilton. The hotel itself is right on the beach with lovely views of palm trees and sand as you eat your meal on the restaurant balcony. I ordered a traditional bajan seafood bouillabaisse stew which was nice but there wasn't that much seafood in it and then you were left with the soupy stew but no bread or spoon to mop it up with. Due to still being hungry I finished my meal with a traditional bajan bread pudding which was again nice but on the small size. I often find with places like this the more you pay the bigger the plate but the smaller the portion. It also took a while to catch the attention of the waiting staff for drinks and the bill etc.

Hilton NOT unless you love rats and flies

Soo where do I start. This hotel is so not a good representation of the Hilton brand that I know. Upon arrival we were not greeted no rum punch nothing on almost every island I visit they gave welcome drinks I mean they even had this at raddison down the road. Anyway not enough staff working the front desk had 2 ppl working during a very busy time. The cafe had 2 workers but one went on break and one locked up to use the bathroom during busy morning coffee time for most. The food was gross room service breakfast was so bad 3 of us got sick. The pool bar had so many flies you could barely enjoy the food or drinks. And they are super slow. The worse part of this is we saw rats 2 evenings in a row at the pool when we went down for a evening swim. I’m assuming this has to do with the fact that the food from customers was still sitting around the pool why? Because they don’t have enough staff. I heard others complaining and ask for a manger and she was told she had to make an appointment so I took my complaint to Twitter In all unless you love rats and flies don’t stay here hilton needs to shut this hotel down and clean up all around including staff this boils down to poor management
