We visited Barbados over five times and this hotel has given us best experience todate. The Suvannah is a smallish hotel, around 80 to 90 rooms on the beach just outside Bridgetown and 20 minute taxi journey from the airport. The hotel has three restaurants, Rachel's bar and table service restaurant, Chopstix table service restaurant and Drifters bar a buffet service. The complex is well run, clean and tidy as are the rooms. We found all the staff very helpful, friendly and always went the extra mile. We enjoyed our experience so much we will be planning a return trip later this year! Thank you to all the staff at the Savvanah ???

Got to say on arrival wasn’t too impressed but the food was brilliant staff lovely and had a ball there. It’s not ?? the big chain hotels it’s homely, good vibe, great food great restaurants. My view was changed the morning after and seeing the monkeys around the hotel made my holiday

    Unbelievable

We travelled here with a three year old and a three month old and it was our first trip to Barbados. From the second we arrived to the second we left we had the most amazing experiences. The hotel is clean and the staff will do anything they can to make your stay more enjoyable. We were welcomed with a nice rum punch and check in was quick and seamless. We were taken down to our room which was by the pool. It was beautiful, clean and big enough for us all. The food is outstanding, there is something for everyone and the team specifically catered to my fussy three year old. As I said, they will do anything to help make your stay easier. The evening entertainment is lovely, such a nice vibe and very relaxing. Drifters is the beach restaurant and seems to be the hub. It’s very nice. Rachel’s is a pre booked place for dinner and it’s an absolute must. The food is incredible and the service is 100%. We didn’t get a chance to go to Chopstix because it is an adults only restaurant but that didn’t bother us. The drinks and cocktails are brilliant and the bar at drifters opens at ten, you can get self serve coffee and water before then though. Special mention goes to the beautiful, amazing Tiffany who my daughter adored. She is a lovely person and a brilliant bar tender. Richard has an amazing knowledge of the island and all the things to do. He also makes a fantastic hurricane cocktail. Mark is a lovely guy too and has such a good attention to detail. Tyrone is again, such a brilliant bartender who remembered our drinks every time. Selwyn was our waiter most nights at Drifters and has such a fantastic sense of humour. He really looked after our daughter. Our cleaner Joanne always left our room spotless which i know couldn’t have been an easy task with the children. She would even arrange the children’s toys on the bed, much to their delight. The grounds men work so, so hard and I’m just sorry I didn’t get their names but they always stopped to chat. One in particular we would speak to about his children and he always had a smile. All the management team are brilliant and will absolutely go above and beyond to make your stay amazing. Don’t be fooled by the exterior as you pull up for the first time. The actual property is beautiful once you get past that. I have to say that without a doubt it’s the best holiday we have had, made better by the staff and we will definitely be back.

We have just returned from our first visit at the Savannah Beach Hotel, arriving 21 Dec for 1 week (we wished it had been for longer) and enjoyed the Virgin club upgrade. We booked an ocean view room which also overlooked the larger pool. It was 2 stories with a King size bed on the top floor and bathroom and a double sofa bed and single bed on the lower floor with a toilet. We would definitely do the upgrade again as we enjoyed the VIP deck and can’t thank Petal for looking after us so well. We also took advantage of the mini bar as it allowed us to have a drink on the balcony after the little one had gone to bed. The minibar was restocked daily with a plentiful selection of drinks. The minibar man tailored the re-stock to our specific needs ... beer, water and Diet Coke ! The hotel is a charismatic gem in an ideal location and perfect for families. It is not suitable for the less mobile as there are a quite a few steps ! It is a little dated in places but it was clean and serviced by lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble but you do have to remember that you are in the Caribbean where the pace is a lot slower !! Some holidaymakers complained about the food but everything we had was edible and plentiful. There was never a time when there was nothing we could or wanted to eat ... we have allergies in our group so can be difficult at meal times but we didn’t have any issues. We never got the chance to dine at Chopstix because we had a child in our party but we did experience the noodles on the street food night .... to die for !! Musts whilst you are there .... * take advantage of the free shuttle and pass to Cococabana beach ... hotel arranges a bus on a Tues and Sat * take a ride on the reggae buses ... we had 22 passengers on one of our rides in a 14 seater reggae bus !! All bus rides costs 3.50 BBD. * take inspect repellent * dine at Rachel’s (take long trousers if you are a male) Big shout out to Demesha and Petal xx. See you all soon.

We have just returned from our 7th visit to Savannah Beach Hotel and it was amazing as usual. Superb staff, excellent food, fantastic events set up over Christmas period. Stayed in and Ocean View Suite - loads of room for the 3 of us with beautiful views over the ocean. Beach cleaned every morning so kept to a very high standard, maintenance to the hotel carried out continually to keep the facilities running to a high standard, food standards seem even better than previous visits - great salad and vegetable selection available - we never went hungry :-) The Management team and general staff within the hotel are superb - so friendly and accomodating - cannot thank them enough for making our holiday so special. We will look forward to our 8th visit in 2020.
