    Great time at Óleo

    We had a great time at the resort! The highlight was the two restaurants Azul and Almar! The staff at azul knew our names since day one. Iliana always treated us very kindly and welcoming. Blas, Dulce, Yeseli, Jose and Manuel also made sure we had all we needed it. Eendira also very welcoming and friendly. At Almar , Abigail planed a special meal for our last day . It was exquisite. The waiters Carlos and Isaac always very courteous and excellent service. They were very attentive to detail, to the point we didn’t have to ask for refills, it seemed they thought ahead. Also the staff at the pool was superb. I gave a four star because we didn’t have toothpaste at the room, and we when requested they didn’t have. This is the first all inclusive ever to not have it, at least that I had visited. Also the infrastructure needed help, I know they had a hurricane before we made it there but they were not too diligent to work on it or it seemed that way. Other than that, is a good price for the value as well!

    There is no real reason to stay here. There is nothing boutique about it except for the small size and limited services. The pool is small and was very crowded, with no social distancing or mask precautions. And loud Check in staff was not masked or had masks below nose. I paid extra for an Inspira suite but was never told of any benefits. Hotel doesn't have any change so you can't tip staff, and will have to pay an arm and a leg for a taxi. Room is fine, not a model of cleanliness. Very loud halls and slamming doors and cleaning made midday naps impossible. Restaurants were largely crowded and no one wore masks. Room service took forever and limited menu. Guests wander halls and such without masks. Stay at a real resort, even if it's cheaper.

    I loved the service in this hotel, but I was impressed with the service from Salvador at the bar, best drinks and also at the sushi restaurant the chef Alejandro was the nicest making us a good bye desert on our last night, and our favorite server ever!!! Aketzali she was so sweet and great experience that she gave us, we went there almost every night because the food was amazing and the service was the best!

    This was an amazing trip that me and my husband took. We were there only 3 days but the food and service was exceptional. Everyone that works there are amazing and sweet and take very good care of you while your there. Rey by the pool always had your drinks filled up and always made sure that you were good. I loved it here and will be back.

    We went there after the hurricane hit some part of the hotel so it may not be the perfect time which I don't want to blame them for that. We get the room downstairs which is vey basic and have lots of issues. TV can't use the menu to select the room service, telephone keep ringing for no reason, fridge has no power so can't keep anything cool inside, the connecting door making noise from shaking from time to time. The staff tried to help with the noisy door by putting some paper to make it tight. However they found no way to fix the fridge and TV menu which we didn't want to bother them more. Probably we just got unlucky to get this room but we don't know about other rooms which may work ok. Yet what we like the most about this hotel is the beach. They are located at one of the most beautiful beach I have ever seen. We enjoyed looking at the view and take our time at their pool. Also I would like to give compliment to Gerry the bartender at the lobby. He is very professional in making us our drinks and very diligent. Mr. Job who served our food is also nice and diligent. He took extra effort to bring us ice cream as dessert. Overall the staff here is very great and have service minded.
