We went in early April 2024 for our delayed honeymoon/3 year anniversary. This was our first all-inclusive experience. I did A LOT of research on resorts before booking...I'm SOOOOO glad I went with this one! We had an AMAZING stay! All the staff was helpful and friendly; concierge always answered ANY questions I had. We enjoyed all of the restaurants we went to (didn't get to all of them) and the service was always top notch. The couples massage and hydrotherapy at the Spa was extremely relaxing, and much needed on our vacation. Bar Manatees was our favorite place to sit and have drinks at any time. We will DEFINITELY be visiting Secrets Playa Mujeres again!

I was very skeptical after reading several negative reviews. However we went in with an open mind and enjoyed every minute of our trip! There are always people who can find negatives in any situation. I would definitely go back again. The staff was very polite and helpful. Food was about par for an all inclusive. Environment as awkward as it sounds was very fun and relaxing. Entertainment staff provided enjoyable activities if you chose to join in.

This is the fifth visit at Secrets PM for us and we enjoyed it all over again. Staff, including Marcella in the Preferred Lounge and Jaime (Jose-Alexandro too!) on the beach, were above and beyond in their aim to please. Edgar in UVC was pleasant and very eager to help in all our wishes, too!

Travelled to this resort with my parents and sister for a quick family getaway. This is what we thought of our stay. Firstly, the lobby and grounds are beautiful. We were promptly welcomed with drinks and towels to refresh ourselves. Check in was I initially very quick and our rooms were ready, but we soon learned why the rooms were available… They are doing construction on the room block our rooms were in. They assured us it was only from 9-5 but they definitely worked a lot later than that. We promptly went to request new rooms. Our request was met, one room was available immediately. My sister and I had to wait until the next day to get our new room. We were very tired after our travel day so we went to bed early. They had a band playing in the bar directly beneath the room and it was like we were in the bar it was so loud. The food was hit and miss, we loved the Asian restaurant, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the Italian was nice too. The French was a let down, the pool snacks were terrible and the seafood restaurant was just okay. We went to the Mediterranean restaurant at Dreams next door and it was also great. Service was excellent all around, very friendly polite staff. The staff working the pool and serving were fantastic, and worked really hard. Nightlife was a little lacking, everywhere just seemed kind of dead. There was literally 8 people in the theatre one night for the show. Having some of the bars and restaurants separate and a golf cart ride away meant there wasn’t a real central place to gather at night. A few areas where we could sit out at night needed some work. Tired furniture that was missing pillows, no tables etc .There was also a ton of weddings and corporate events while we were there. The beach was beautiful, much nicer than some other hotels down in the Mayan riviera. Little to no seaweed, beautiful white sand and lots of space to go for walks. I think they need a few more rows of beach chairs, there wasn’t many. The pool is also beautiful, we didn’t find the towel game too bad. We were up and down by 7:30 and grabbed spots easily. Some people came later and still found spots. Overall it’s a beautiful resort with great service, that is just in need of a bit of an update.
