    Amazing Hotel

    This Hotel comes out on line between a 3 and a 4 star hotel. What a hidden gem. Make sure you stay in the main hotel and not in the accommodation the main building. I think thats wear the 3 star bit comes from. Insist before you book you are in the main building and your laughing. Amazing rooms . We are a family of four and its great for the price for the location. One down side , car parking 40 dollars a night. But with free pool, free tennis,free wifi, free pool table, free table tennis. Sports tv in the bar. Pool side music seems to make ip for it. Great Hotel, Great Hotel. Eric Potts

    We booked this hotel nearly 6 months in advance. We were staying in the area for two days before a cruise. Knowing we would be in town for the 4th of July, I booked an ocean view room specifically to watch the fireworks from the balcony. I had registered on the Hilton Honors app the day before we arrived and selected room 435. Again, selected so that we could enjoy the fireworks from the balcony. Check in is at 400pm and we arrived at 330pm. The lobby is very nice and clean. It was extremely busy and there were several upset patrons taking out their frustrations on the front desk staff. I waited and was greeted by a very nice Javion (sp??). I was told that the room I had selected was not available and that the hotel was short 2 ocean view rooms. I was told that I could have a partial ocean view and the price would be adjusted for such. I asked if the fireworks could still be viewed. His response was "yes, should have a better view." We went up to our room, 708. We had a great view of the marina with the cruise port in the distance and a partial view to the ocean. For a recently refurbished hotel, there were a lot of minor cosmetic issues with the room that could have been done better. We waited nearly 20 minutes for a down elevator. Finally getting down and exiting the hotel, the location is great. Once the walkover the the beach is finished it will be perfect. Walked about 200 yards and the selection of restaurants begins. After lunch and a walk on the strip we headed back up the room. At dark, the fireworks begin. Guess what, NO VIEW of the fireworks show. However, we could see some off in the distance from Hollywood Beach so it was ok. That night, the beds were comfortable and the AC was great so we slept well. Next morning, again around a 10 minute wait for the elevator. We went down to the market deli. The breakfast was great. We had a couple of breakfast burritos and omelets. A little pricey but very tasty. There is a water taxi stop located just behind the market deli at the marina. Spent the day around the city and came back to the hotel. Another wait on the one elevator that was in operation. Again, the AC was working great. Definitely no AC problems with the room as others have complained in the past. The morning of check out, the Hilton Honors app would not allow for checkout so I had to make my way down to the front desk. Now to the worst part, we waited around 30 minutes for an elevator. At this time, Security made their way to our floor frantically trying to get one the elevators open. Of the three elevators, one was out of service the entire stay, one only worked occasionally and the last was being fully used. Now, one is out, and someone appeared to be stuck in another. We weren't taking any chances. We carried four sets of luggage down 7 fights of stairs, exited to the loading dock (can't reenter the hotel from the stairwell) and walked around the exterior parking lots to come back into a packed lobby. There was a waiting line to check out. The staff at the counter continued to be friendly and I definitely was not going to take my frustration out on them as others were doing. Of course the Hilton survey is only good for three days, so being on a cruise with no internet access, I did not get to pass this on directly to Hilton. Would I stay here again? In this current state, no way in the world! If the elevators were fully operational and the beach walkway was repaired, then possibly. Too many other choices in the area to have to worry with non functioning elevators and apparently no plans to repair them as people have been complaining for nearly a year about the elevators.

    Worst Experience Ever!!!

    This is by far the WORST experience I have ever had at a hotel!! The front desk staffers are nice, but the managers are useless. The elevators DO NOT WORK properly!!! My family stayed for two (2) days, the first day we had lights, but the second night -Power Outage until the next day (afternoon). No lights, No water, No flushing toilets, No A/C and No one seems to CARE!!! The manager came up with a great idea to comfort the guests, they decided to have an open bar of wine, water & the famous "Double Tree Cookies", which left guests with such a warm feeling at 2:00am in the morning, NOT!!! So they had a wedding party of DRUNK people wandering around the Hotel in the dark, No Liability here!!!!!!! Perfect Solution!! Now for the Bill - the accounting department charged my credit card FOUR (4) times for a total of approx. $950.00 for a 2 two night stay!!! They said they would "COMP" the night without power.... but it took the Accounting Manager - Carol, a week to figure that out!! She said she just couldn't figure out why the charges were added to our account...…. WOW!! Great Customer Service, I would say No WAY!!! I would NOT recommend this HOTEL to anyone!!! This is My worst experience ever at a Hilton Property!!! I called the Hilton Honors department at the Corporate office, and explained my situation. To my surprise the customer service person, said that this hotel was the worst, and the staff did not know what they were doing!!! Another pleasant moment for me...… Good Luck with this company!

    I am staying here now. The 2 out of 3 elevators dont work so you have to wait 20 minutes for an elevator. I checked in my room and the toilet water and running water is brown. However, there is a note in the bathroom that says "even though water is brown, it is drinkable". The toilet in my room does not flush. It is 5:15 on my second day and the room isnt cleaned. I called the font desk yesterday and today and my issues have not been addressed. The room is older and not updated. Carpets are wet throughout hotel and hallways and was told "they just cleaned the carpets". Towels are older too.

    The elevators sucked waited thirty mins for it horrible front Desk staff they never came and brought us what we needed we had to go downstairs to 10 what we need to check in lady was extremely rude not friendly at all major attitude
