Be Warned, Low Budget...Not Great

I could not get out of this hotel fast enough. BE WARNED...and you will see other reviews about this same issue (wish I'd looked here first) I booked an OceanFront room and the entire view was blocked from the right, but worse, the people in the rooms to the right were literally able to see right into our room and balcony. Bear in mind, I'd called the hotel to make this reservation but no one said our oceanfront room would be right up against another person's room and they would be looking directly at us when they sat on their balcony. When I questioned the front dest about the reservation, they said, "We wouldn't tell you that over the phone." The rooms themselves are outdated and the door was NOT sealed so the wind was blowing inside and there was about 1/4 inch opening at the bottom of the door. (it opens to the outside) We had to ask to have someone come up and help seal the bottom of the door because it was open and the wind was blowing into the room through the cracks in the sides. They installed a new weatherstrip but the other sides of the door weren't sealed so it was still blowing through. Threadbare sheets. Stained lampshades. It was kind of gross. They were supposed to move us but then didn't have the room ready on time and made us move our stuff downstairs. We ended up leaving the hotel early because I couldn't take staying here anymore. They are not service oriented, really didn't care we were unhappy with the room. I get this was a 3 star hotel but you'd be better off somewhere else. Yes, this hotel is across from the beach...but they nickel and dime you for everything....have to go to the front desk to get one beach towel each. It's really low budget (for expensive prices). The only thing good about this hotel is that it is next to a Starbucks & Lulu's...which was great.
Home and homelike.

Since moving away back in the late 90s every time I came back home to visit my first choice has always been Park Shore. Sure there are more fancy hotels (and you’ll pay more doing so) but the Park Shore just feels more like home. Best location by far, great staff, friendly people and great service. Lost count on how many times I’ve visited and will continue to do so. Mahalo Nui Loa.

If you like waking up to leaf blower at 630am every morning, full tiny trash cans even after they “clean” the room. They didn’t even stock the coffee stuff or leave cups. Rooms only get “cleaned” every other day yet we only had 2 towels for 3 of us. We had to keep calling and asking for the basics. Annoying to say the least but the location is great. Walking distance to a lot of stuff especially the beach.
A Fantastic Hotel with prime location!

From the moment we checked in, to the moment we checked out, everything was perfect. The location of the Hotel is amazing. We had a view of the ocean, and of Diamond Head. We had a mini fridge, microwave & coffee maker in the room that was fantastic perk! If you have a rental car, due to the location it has to be valeted. They were so quick to get us our vehicle when we requested, every time. We never waited more than 4 minutes. There is a nice swimming pool with lounge chairs and cabanas. The restaurant on site was fantastic and has the most amazing sunsets! Everything you could possibly need for a day on Waikiki beach is within a 3 minute walk. Sandwich shop, souvenir shops, Starbucks, sweet treats, beer/wine, float rings/rafts…everything. The front desk, specifically Chaves and Cy are awesome! I just can’t say enough about this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

Did a staycation while we attended a concert at the Waikiki Shell and the location is perfect! We could even see the elephants at the Waikiki Zoo from our room. We also enjoyed the 10% discount at Lulu?s for breakfast while we were there by showing our room key to the wait staff. This location is at the quieter side of Waikiki close to Diamond Head, right across the street from Waikiki Beach and the Honolulu Zoo!
