    The right word here is wow.You have good value for your money. Relaxing. Friendly and excellent staff members.Tasteful drinks. Food at the buffet is natural.The resort is 20 minutes walk to town. Reasonable fitness center (needs more attention and longer hours

    The location is really great, right in Langosta's beach with direct access from the hotel. I expected more from the buffet restaurant. Repetitive food with very little choice on the available food. The only grilled meat available for 4 days in a row was pork, total lack of squeezed natural juices, which is a shame in Costa Rica. 12$ a day for WiFi access is a total joke, why would they rip off customers like that? The evening shows were nice, congrats for the dancing team.

    This is a small resort with only one pool. You can take the city bus right into twon for shopping, wifi is not free, with all inclusive this should definately be included, The DJ sjpuld have some english, possibly the band should have some different music at each session

    Not what we expected from Barcelo

    This resort is owned by Barcelo, but is not great at all. Sliding doors at patios and closets are almost impossible to move. Drinks at the pool bar are served in very small tumblers and are not well made. Pina Colada, for instance, is made without a blender. Food at this bar is poor, too. The fried chicken isn't bad, but the pizza has almost no topping and the burgers...well, I've seen hockey pucks that are blacker. The dining area is wanting, too. Tables are set with things missing. There may be only 3 glasses, or 3 cups, etc. Food at the hot bar isn't hot. Cold scrambled eggs just don't cut it. Oatmeal varies in consistency, from thick to very, very watery. One day out of seven there was extra oatmeal that you could put in. There was no muesli, granola, or bran or any other finer (muesli appeared one day of 7). Red wine is served ice-cold!!! Food at the special restaurant wasn't much better (although the wine was served at a reasonable temperature). Housekeeping was spotty. At times a shower mat was placed and at others, not. The floor in the room was always gritty and never seemed clean. Flowers on the bed, when they appeared, were a nice touch. The grounds are well maintained. There appears to be an effort to upgrade, but starting with tiling the pool area might have been the wrong sequence. We did notice a pile of new sliding doors, so that may well be addressed soon.

    Good value for money. All inclusive. Relaxing. Friendly staff members.Tasteful drinks. Food at the buffet is simple but natural. Avoid the a la carte restaurant (very bad). The resort is 20 minutes walk to town. Reasonable fitness center (needs more attention and longer opening hours).
