Great staff and rooms. Also close to a lot of great areas to explore. Micah was great helping us to get checked in and to share some of his local favorite places. We are exploring the North shore today after a week in the south shore helping Habitat for Humanity build some homes. Overall an excellent experience in Hawaii.

We had a fabulous stay here all the staff pleasant and helpful HOWEVER we were on the Island at the time of a very significant storm with a lot of rain , in fact on waking up after midnight on April 12 our room was flooded!!! Guest services were called and they dispatched David from security to fetch towels to mop up the water ! David very soon realized that towels would not remedy this flood as the rain was expected for many hours . He returned to guest services and he helped us move in the middle of the night , he was empathetic, courteous, helpful and cheerful. We were lucky to move into a beautiful DRY room for the remainder of our stay . Thank you David you definitely deserve to be recognized for your help that night .Our vacation was NOT ruined due to your thoughtfulness and professionalism . Thank you !

Stayed for a week with family and children at coconut beach and loved the rooms and game rooms. We could easily rent bikes for the day as well. Kyle at the pool side bar was so amazing and made us feel right at home...especially since my kiddos wanted to live at the pool. It was a bit chilly that week so the only hot tub was packed most the time and pool was chilly too. Thankful for the bar and Kyle's hospitality.

Our housekeeper Josie did an excellent job taking care of us! I asked her once for extra regular coffee & she made sure we always had it. The waitress in the restaurant Ann Marie did a good job serving us & with a wonderful sense of humor! Karen Barns - the concierge - was wonderful about helping us with activities. She always greeted us with a smile and wondered how & what we had done that day. I would highly recommend this resort!

Some of the good features of the hotel were- Large ocean front room with lots of space. Very clean, maid did a great job of keeping us in clean sheets and towels. Large screen TV with some of our favorite shows. Close to the grocery store (Safeway) and Coconut Market place with restaurants. Also, A mc Donald's within walking distance. On premise Luau with many times per week performances. Downside, the beach really was not a swimming beach and I wish it was. The pool area needed more lounge chairs.
