    Excellent One Night Stay at the Hyatt Regency LAX

    We had a quick one night stay at the Hyatt Regency LAX. We arrived at 1:30PM and were able to get our room despite the early arrival. Jayme from the front desk was super friendly and helpful in checking us in and explaining to us about the dining options and benefits at the hotel during the pandemic. She even escorted us to the elevator. The hotel room itself was clean. Most of the facilities such as the gym, the Regency Lounge and the Unity LA restaurants were closed due to COVID-19. We did have lunch and breakfast at the Unity LA Market. The sandwiches were ok but a bit over priced. Breakfast was ok as well. Breakfast was comped due to globalist benefits (they gave us $25 per person allowance). We did walk to In and Out Burger nearby for dinner. Late checkout was offered but not needed. Overall, it was an excellent quick one night stay for us and we will definitely stay here again.

    Excellent improved customer service. Satisfied with all services. I will be returning to rest and work when needed. Convenient location and delicious food included open patio area. I appreciate the cordial welcome.

    Establishment had falsely advertised prices I was charged $50 more than advertised Advertised price was a $129 charged price with a $179 restroom and entire suite was nowhere near as clean as other establishments I have stayed in before no trash can liners that I could see and the trash cans were microscopic not big enough to throw anything away. Connection from wall to fixture on toilet was rusty and disgusting looking as well as the shower did not look like it had been cleaned properly in quite some time with dark spots and light spots on the floor.

    Large rooms, great staff. Gym and lounge is closed during the pandemic. Lots of people hanging out too close to the entrance smoking marijuana. I can't tell if they're guests or just some random people. Elevators and hallways smell like marijuana but I guess that's to be expected in California. The smell doesn't get into the room so that's a plus. Lobby market is way overpriced

    Lobby and room was modern, bathroom was okay. Food at the restaurant was not good at all, valets and staffs at the front desk were the worst. The only good thing was shuttle bus to the airport (run frequently and on time).
