Pacific Palace Tower was a great place to stay. The room was spacious and modern and the ocean view was spectacular. The pool was nice, and it was nice to have access to both pools on the property, but I've also seen more picturesque pools. It's nice that they have activities going at the pool most days. I would have appreciated room service, which didn't appear to be a thing, and it was also difficult to order food poolside. The dining patio by the pool is nice, though. The location was decent but it felt a little far north compared to many of the other hotels in the Golden Zone - there are more restaurants, etc, once you get a little farther south, and it's a quicker taxi ride into town. Overall, very good stay, though!

I stayed here for a week, and it was a very clean hotel, always well kept and directly on the beach. I had a superior room, with fridge, coffee maker (although coffee was only supplied for one day) blender, toaster and cutlery but no pots or pan. I had a great view of the beach from the 6th floor and the front desk was very helpful. I changed a room, at no cost, and they were very accommodation. The bar next door, Dieago, had music most nights, but did not last too long. There are restaurants, bars and shops very close by. The nationals made up most of the clientele at this time of year.

It's impossible to sleep, the hotel is placed in front of super noisy bars. If you ask for another room, you must pay an extra charge. There is no warning when you are booking a room. Poor cleaning. Room service until 11 pm. I love Mazatlan, but I'll never come back to Pacific palace !!!! Rigth now i wish i could sleep :(...

My family and I got to the resort and the 1st thing that happened we were asked to go into a side room to check in. They did not explained anything to us except that we were with RCI so we had to be in this room to get checked in. Being in another country made us feel very uncomfortable especially since they kept our suitcase out by the front desk and not with us. We stayed in Room 10004. The air conditioner sounded like something was rattling in the duck through the whole night. Super loud! S having no sleep through the 1st night and traveling we were not very happy. I went to the front desk and they sent maintenance up to try to fix it. He spoke no english so was not sure he really understood the problem and if he really fixed the problem for the next night. Next night it rattled periodically and the night after that too. Finally the 4th morning I got it recorded so I could show them the sound! I let them listen too at the front desk and requested we move rooms. We moved to room 4001. As soon as we got off the elevator on floor 4 the smoke detector was beeping. Had to call down to have them fix that too so we could sleep. That night was a friday night they had a band down below us and it kept my son up till 1 oclock in the am. They never told us there was a band that night when I asked what room would be best for us t stay as we didn't want to stay in any rooms that ended in #4. Please read review before you go stay with your family.

The pacific palace is very affordable and it isn’t a stand alone hotel. When you pay for one hotel, whether it’s oceano, pacific or Luna, you have access to all the hotels. You can go to their pools, their restaurants, their bars pretty much everything except the rooms. I wasn’t expecting this at all and all the locations are very lovely. The beach and the pool are warm and my only complaint I guess is how crowded everything gets but that’s just a part of the Mazatlan culture. Also if you are trying to get some sleep early, good luck cause the bands on the beach will continue to play until about 1 in the morning maybe longer but overall very nice hotel(s)
