    The resort needs some work. We paid for Ocean View but you could not see the Ocean from our room. The hedge row needs to be cut down all along the property. That would really open things up and make Ocean View rooms actually Ocean View. There should be hand sanitizer stations throughout the resort. They ran out of jerked chicken, RUM, bananas, pineapple, butter and milk during our stay. Who runs out of RUM and jerked chicken in Jamaica? The food is just OK. Need more beach help. Dishes, glasses and trash left sitting around on chairs etc. A lot of the workers had a "its not my job" attitude when things were mentioned that needed to be done. Not much team work at this resort. The guy that works for Prestige selling the karisma resorts memberships walked all over the beach everyday talking to people and had his mask off 90 percent of the time. That is a lot of exposure. He was not always 6 feet away. His zipper was down on her pants three days in a row. Very unprofessional. He was quick to throw the resort under the bus when complaints were made but did not do anything about the issues. There was just enough wrong at this resort that it would keep people from joining the membership. I would not stay here again and we go to Jamaica twice a year.

    Enjoyed our stay, food and entertainment was good. Romario the bellman really took care of us. He made sure we were taken care of. Also Carlos the bellman! They made they stay super comfortable. ?????? Make sure u ask for them!

    Overall, our trip was great. As many other reviews indicate, the resort did an amazing job with COVID related preparations and precautions. Rooms were exceptionally clearn, all employees wore masts, hand sanitizer was located everywhere and every everyone entering a restaurant was required to use sanitizer upon entering. The entire staff of this resort was amazing, but several individuals really stood out and made our trip the best it could be. Evon (General Manager) and Isasi (Concierge) went above and beyond, and were very accomodating. Our 8 year old daughter had an amazing time with the Kids Club activities thanks to Shanique. My wife and I also visited the spa one day for couples massages, and that experience was wonderful.

    We were at azul in negril from nov 14-21. The resort itself was very nice, beautiful beach, we also had a swim up room in building 12 (the first put us in building 11 but there was no view). I love the swim up except for u had to use a ladder to go up and down. The newer side, lower # buildings had the steps but that side was closed. The liquor, thought we were getting top shelf but apparently not. I drink vodka all they had was Smirnoff and absolute, that is not top shelf, I asked for the grey goose and belvedere and was told they didn’t have it. It seemed they ran out of a lot while we were there. The food, was only ok. I would not call it gourmet cuisine. The Italian was good, tiramisu, lasagna, and carbonara, were great. Do not order the caprese salad it was not mozzarella cheese, no idea what kind it was. Bread they brought u was cold and tasted stale. We ate at the mahogany for the lobster and steak night. Skip the steak and just get double the lobster! The Thai place was ok too, spring rolls were great, sushi was good. I don’t know why we had trouble finding French fries and beef patties but we finally found them by asking for them.they don’t have a place where u can just go grab a snack like a beef pattie or something like I have seen at other resorts. I know it’s Covid, but they could have a stand with items pre made and staff giving them out. Shout out to Tracey at the front desk and Tracey at the front desk for helping us with our room change. Shout to Safari the bartender at the bar outside mahogany! And a big shoutout to Oshane and Carlosfor taking care of moving us and anything else we needed. Overall we had a great time, I would have to go back after Covid to see if the problems we had were due to Covid.

    My husband & I stayed at the Azul Beach Resort Negril for my birthday. Thanks again babe! A much needed trip. We enjoyed our relaxed stay at the resort everything was GREAT!! I like to give Dwight from the personal concierge bldg 9 a BIG SHOUT for his attentiveness, he ensured we received proper service. It’s the little things in life that means the most!!! He even sent me champagne & cake to my room which made my bday even sweeter.
