On arrival, our Butler Damion checked us in seamlessly to our beachfront suite (RS) which was old-style but clean and quiet and had a great view. The grounds are beautiful and the landscaping is beautiful. It is very picturesque and with the offshore island, there are many instagram moments. The real reason to get butlers is to reserve your spot at the pools or at the beach. We had a butler, but I would not have been happy if I had to get up at 6 am to reserve a chair on the beach or at the pool, There are two main pools, the quiet pool and the activity pool. We spent a day at each and each was enjoyable, but the chairs were all reserved. There was no moving around. Same as the beach areas. I would recommend spending at least one day at the offshore island. There are several places to find some shade as well as plenty of open areas. The food left both my wife and I unimpressed. The French restaurant which requires reservations and slacks, just did not have flavorful food. Also, the italian restaurant food seemed very "all inclusive" to me. It was just okay. The chocolate buffet on the night of the caribbean festival was also very lackluster. All the chocolate was bland and cakey. One sentence about the airplane noise. Not terrible, but is, at times distracting and loud. In summary, Sandals Royal Caribbean is very picturesque and the service is spot-on, but the need to reserve chairs at the pools and beaches and the lackluster food gets it down to 3 or 4 stars.

Had another wonderful relaxing trip to Montego Bay Jamaica!! We were planned to go to the Inn but because it closed we were upgraded to the Royal Caribbean. We had a wonderful time. The staff was outstanding Everyone seems to want to be sure you are happy and comfortable. It is usually the one vacation that I never really want to go home. You are pampered and taken care of from the time you reach the sandals lounge in the airport until you step off your shuttle back to airport home. The time you spend at Sandals resorts is so enjoyable that you count the days till your next sandals vacation. Thank you to all staff at Royal Caribbean and Montego Bay and even the airport lounge. You all work so very hard to keep us coming back for more. You do a great job

    Still love it there!

Went for the second half of a two week stay in Jamaica. This is our 10th or so time there. If you like beach bars, Sandals Royal Caribbean has the most congenial and social beach bar patrons and staff. The new snorkel boat was great to see! The captains will get you out snorkeling for sure! The previous ocean front view restaurant, The Regency (which we loved) , has been remodeled into two restaurants. Although I’m slightly nostalgic for the Regency, the new restaurants are beautiful and the deck is even bigger for more outdoor seating. One of the restaurants, Spices, is similar in style to the Regency menu. It is great food, we’ll managed and still great! The other restaurant, Bombay, is brand new to the resort. It is Indian food and is a fantastic addition to dining options. The restaurant manager is passionate about the food and it shows. It is now on our favorites list of restaurants we have to visit. If you like rice pudding at all, try it there! The French restaurant is charming as ever and worth a visit. The entertainment staff is energetic and talented. We always meet the nicest people there and this held true.
