Breezes is located in an excellent part of the island. It’s close to town but off the main road so it’s quiet. It has the best section on Cable Beach of all the resorts. The food is excellent and the service is great. I especially enjoyed the Entertainment staff who went above and beyond to ensure the guests had fun. A special shout out goes to Kyheil who kept us all laughing and dancing! Stayed 4 nights in Jan. 2020

My fiancé and I absolutely loved our stay at the Breezes! When coming here you need to remember that you get what you pay for, and since we aren't ones to stay on the resort, I was looking for the most cost effective. It might not be the Baha Mar, but it is on the same stretch of sand and the all-inclusive feature is a huge selling point. The food was awesome with the exception of the outside grill which could use a menu update. I can’t comment on the drinks because neither my fiancé nor myself drink, but everyone around us looked like they were enjoying them. The rooms and common areas were a bit dated, but the bed was super comfortable and there was plenty to do. Upon arrival we met the most wonderful and helpful staff. Keanu went above and beyond by making our check-in not only fast and easy, but he also upgraded us from a classic room to an oceanfront. It was our first time being offered something like this, he made our stay something we will never forget. The Asian restaurant has the best cauliflower I have ever tasted on the menu, and our wonderful server D'Angelo ensured our service was quick and spectacular. I will definitely be recommending this resort to anyone interested in staying in Nassau!

The entertainment team made our vacation extremely enjoyable. They are there long hours all day simply to make sure you’re having a great time. Danny & D’von were always a good laugh and a great hang!

Bare with me as there are so many small factors that totally let the hotel down. First of all the hotel is in a good location and the check in staff were friendly & Keano upgraded us to sea front from sea view,(Its a shame there are no balconies as the sea is lovely). The hotel is very clean , although the corridors stunk of bleach. Rooms are simple, w old fashioned furniture but plenty of room and comfy enough beds. There is no fridge unless you pay, no ice buckets, no water, (you have to carry a cup from the basement restaurant to bed) and we had to ask three times for a tea maker to be sent- it appeared on the second day. The adjoining rooms are noisy and you can hear everything next door as we found out on the last night. The WiFi never works so nor does the Hulu/Netflix in the rooms. STAFF: a lady on pool bar with a birthday this week just gone was lovely (sorry I didn’t get names)and some wait staff at lunch and dinner, were nice. The rest however acted as though you were putting them out when asking for anything. One night at dinner I had SEVEN kitchen staff just stand and stare at me when waiting for service at the pasta station, until eventually one of them reluctantly came over. One woman at the pool bar may as well have thrown your drinks at you. The woman who checked us out, asked how our stay was- when we replied “hmm just ok really”, she didn’t respond at all and was more preoccupied getting the $17 charge for phone calls from me. A lot of staff seem distracted/disinterested and often more interested in chatting amongst themselves. The bellman didn’t once help us with our bags either. FOOD & DRINK- The 3/4 a la carte restaurants are actually only open one or 2 at a time, which is misleading. the ‘a la carte asian’ was THE WORST meal I’ve had in my life. The starter was 1 spring roll that sat in a sticky sauce, soggy and chewy. The veggie main was whole soggy Brussel sprouts again in a very sugary sauce. I don’t know why they even bother opening. Food at the pool deck was the best we had! Staff were friendly & efficient and the food was always hot and cooked there and then. Burgers/hot dogs/salad. Although the veg burgers are cooked on the same grill as the meat. Buffet was lots of meat and grits and some fish & the same grey looking veg every day. As a vegan or vegetarian I hope you like spaghetti, because that was the only hot option. During ‘gala dinner’ night however (it was no different) they decided to shut the station early so I had nothing to eat. One lady at breakfast was helpful in getting me some almond milk right away for cereal and teas, but you had to ask someone each day. There are also 0 allergens listed on the buffet food, and ladles from dairy heavy sauces were plonked in others. No mugs on half the tables, not even enough s&p shakers to go round and you had to search around for a spoon. It is just so disjointed and unorganised. POOL BAR- The frozen drinks were so sugary they were undrinkable. Like pure syrup. They constantly ran out of wine, they put ice in the sparking wine! and the beer tasted watered down even. (This also ran out on one or two occasions). The ‘club’/late bar in the basement was such a mess (like someone’s garage!) we walked in and out again. They were also playing music insanely loud that was absolutely full of profanities- not appropriate for a hotel. The main lobby bar is like an echo chamber and so constantly so noisy. Rowdy Americans would even take their shoes off and dump them at the bar whilst hanging around. There are a few pool tables and ping pong in the same area. The ‘adult only’ 25 and over basement bar was just depressing. Dark, hardly any lights on, with a guy attempting to sing (shout) whilst playing the piano, as guests thumped and banged on it like a load of drunk teenagers. It could be heard from dinner. I understand the decorum of other guests isn’t down to the hotel, but it was like spring break for middle agers. Constant shouting and screaming from big groups of them, absolutely no peace. POOL- The pool had banging loud music from around 11am, all activities announced on a loud speaker then commentated on till end. It was impossible to read or nap or just relax so we would walk down the beach. There is literally no quiet or relaxing area in the entire hotel. Staff waited till almost midday to clean the pool and hot tub, whilst people were IN IT. Sunday was full of day trippers, so the pool was even more rowdy. One member of staff was at the swim up bar, encouraging them to shout/repeat after him over and over. The beach was littered w cigarette ends & bird poo allover the beds. The smoking area was a big deck up a level w great views yet people obviously still smoke wherever they want. The icing on the cake was when a member of the entertainment staff hit me square on in the face with a volleyball on our last day. It wasn’t an activity- just 4 staff having a throw about. I jumped up from my bed, alarmed and clutching my eye - all four of them stood there LAUGHING. Not one of them came over or were in any hurry to ask if I was ok. It was only when I proclaimed , “are you going to apologise?” That one of them sheepishly said sorry. Personally I would be mortified had I done this myself and couldn’t believe their absolute lack of manners. I then flew home with a black eye. *All in all it needs huge renovations as the spaces are so old fashioned and miss matched and depressing. *95% of the staff are rude and lax. *Atrocious food. *flat/sugary/awful drinks and cheap wine and spirits you’ve never heard of. *rowdy and constantly drunk clientele who can’t apparently talk at normal levels. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!
