The staffs there are friendly and the room is clean and tidy. It has shuttle bus to theme parks. It's a good choice if your plan is only theme parks. The room is not small and facilities are old. However, the overall experience is good.

Stayed in Jamaica block which was so convenient for the Skyliner. Shame it broke down within a few days but would definitely recommend! So smooth, quiet and quick to get to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. The resort is fabulous and after a day in the parks, it feels very calm, relaxing and a world away from the bustle and crowds. It is immaculately clean everywhere and the staff were amazing. Every single one should be congratulated on their customer service. The food in the Marketplace was excellent however, quite limited in choice and as we stayed for a fortnight, we found it little repetitive e. The snacks at the Grab & Go were also excellent. We were on the Quick Service Dining Plan;we were so relieved as prices to buy food and drink were very high. Our room was fabulous. Everything was brand new and we loved the fluffy fresh towels and crisp white bedding! The main pool was brilliant for our 2 grand children and the lifeguards were very attentive and friendly. The quieter island pools were great for a relaxing swim. All in all, I would highly recommend this resort if you want relaxation during your Disney experience .

Had the most amazing fortnight at Caribbean Beach with my husband, Mum and 2 kids (6 & 3) for the 1st 2 weeks of September. We have done Disney before but never on property so we were very excited to arrive. The hotel is huge and very much like a typical Caribbean resort. The buildings are low (2 stories) and sprawling across the vast resort. There’s a main pool with kids splash area near the lobby which unfortunately was closed for refurb for most of our stay. Then each block has its own quiet pool. The smell in the lobby is something else! Also it’s nice to just ‘chill’ in the lobby sometimes and they often pop round with free treats like cupcakes, cookies etc which is a lovely touch. All staff were exactly as you would expect from Disney, efficient, friendly and full of enthusiasm. Our room was Jamaica (I’ve forgotten the number) but it was 1st floor, corner room. Now for 5 of us it was quite small and for this reason alone we would maybe choose another resort next time. But if it was just me, hubby and kids we would definitely be ok in this size room. It was in need of a little TLC but I believe the rooms are in the process of being renovated so I expect that will change soon. That said, it served its purpose, it was clean and comfortable with a fridge, iron, coffee maker and hairdryer. The food onsite was actually amazing! Far surpassed my expectations. There’s Centertown market and grab and go in the lobby, serving quick serve and snack options. I highly recommend the fish tacos. Sebastians Bistro as a table service meal, which we really enjoyed. The Caribbean rolls were fabulous. The atmosphere was nice and laid back too. Spyglass grill is another quick serve and it’s a lovely outdoor location, took us ages to find but I’m glad we did. The breakfast here was particularly good. Transport was easy enough but should be even better now the skyliner is open. We missed it by a few days unfortunately. Aesthetically it is a stunning resort, you could genuinely be in the Caribbean. It is huge though so if you have mobility issues or just don’t want to be walking a lot then it maybe isn’t the one for you. We would return in a different party size however, we do also want to experience the different hotels Disney has to offer.

We stayed from Oct. 6 -10 in Jamaica. On Oct. 5, the Skyliner broke down and remained shut down for the entire stay. The Skyliner was the main reason we booked here because you can access Epcot and Hollywood Studios directly from this resort via the Skyliner. Jamaica is also the point on the property close to the Skyliner. Instead, we had to take the bus everywhere. Our first bus trip must have been serviced by the Skyliner people because the bus broke down. Fortunately, there are plenty of busses to all of the parks. We found that there is also a resort bus that stops at this resort and then makes its next stop at the Boardwalk resort. If you are visiting the World Showcase at Epcot and the Skyliner is still shut down, take this bus because the ride is shorter and you walk right into the World Showcase after you cross the bridge from the Boardwalk. From Jamaica it is a short walk across a bridge and an island to the main pool where there is a hot tub. After all morning and early afternoon at a park, I like to go to the hot tub to soak before going back for Round 2 while the family takes a nap. The hot tub was shut down as they were working on the pumps. I was starting to wonder if everything was going to be broken. As to the rooms, they are not large but are comfortable. We were assigned a pool view for which we were charged extra. The problem was that the pool was closed for refurbishment but we were still being charged extra for the pool view. We had the extra charge removed from the bill but we had to ask for the charge to be removed. Please check your bill to make sure that you do not get charged for something extra that you can’t use. Breakfast is adequate. It is definitely not at the level of the Port Orleans French Quarter breakfast which I think is the best place for breakfast at Disney. The omelets here are not large and, for some unknown reason, they had trouble cooking well-done bacon the first time. One morning my son noticed that Apple Juice was posted at $1.99 which made it a bargain compared to the rest of the juices. He ordered it. Our receipt showed that we were charged $3.49 for the Apple Juice. We were informed that the price posting was a mistake. After 3 management levels, $3.49 was credited to our account. The next day, however, the Apple Juice was still posted at $1.99 without anything at the register indicating the price that they actually charge. They have to charge you the posted price. As with the room rate, please check your bill.

We loved this resort and spent two weeks here in a king room in Martinique. The theming is beautiful and the communal areas are really well kept. There were a couple of issues we had and these were dealt with superbly by the front desk and Nick at housekeeping. The only issue we found were with the buses as they did take forever at times and the early morning schedule wasn’t always shared, but this will hopefully resolve itself when the extra extra hours go. This is a fairly common grumble at the larger Disney hotels though so we expected it. Overall a great stay and we will come back!
