Family getaway. First time staying at a Disney resort. Food and Beverage was good and reasonable prices. Pool open to 11:00. Housekeeping did a great job. No hassle check in/out. Arcade. 24hr laundry??

Prior to arriving I requested a room facing the inside of the resort. I was staying alone I preferred not facing a parking lot for safety reasons when coming back to the hotel at night. When I checked in I was told that my room had been assigned but not ready and provided with a map with the Mighty Ducks building 2 circled and assured the room faced the interior. I went to the parks and received a text that I was in Love Bug, room 6813 I headed to the resort. When I got to the room I saw it was in the furthest corner of All Star Movies facing not only the parking lot but also where they store all their construction materials. There happened to be a cast member standing nearby so I politely explained my request. He got me switched to room facing the interior of the resort. He also told me that if I felt security was an issue I should go to a resort that has interior corridors. When arriving back at the resort (the buses from Magic Kingdom back to the resort were running about 30 minutes between them) it was apparent that the room air conditioning had issues even though it was turned down all the way. The room was damp feeling. After riding the bus with the lengthy wait in between buses, watching a young woman standing, holding a crying infant - not one person offering her a seat - I think we are through with All Star Movies. I ended up contacting guest services and checking out around midnight. They are supposed to refund the stay.

We stayed here Aug 31-Sept 5 during hurricane Dorian. We really did feel like this was the safest place to be as they had all kinds of safety measures in place and a Hurricane Ride Out Team in place to take care of us should anything happen. They had signs updating us on any changes in schedules etc. And there were several people with their dogs who had escaped the coast for what they called a "hurrcation". In the end we were spared any really bad weather but it was business as usual even with the looming weather. We had some of the best customer service experiences on this trip with our airline " misplacing" our luggage. The manager at Bell services (your name starts with an N)she went above and beyond to help us on the phone and to get the process moving along and locate our luggage she then referred us to the Duty manager Sonia/Brandon who followed up with us to make sure we were taken care of while we waited for the luggage to be located and delivered and I also have to mention Breana (with clear frame glasses) at check in desk who was also so kind and helpful despite being under the weather herself. This really made our experience so wonderful amidst the stress around us. We should also mention the updated rooms were clean and inviting as well as the grounds. We will be returning here in winter as our children enjoy the all stars over moderates due to theming. We will pick movies as this has been the best service we have received though we hope it won't be over lost luggage the next time. Great value for the money.

My sister and I stayed 5 nights for a nostalgic week at Disney World. Just us with no kids. Everything was great and our expectations of a value stay were exceeded. We saved $40 by electing no maid service, and that worked fine (you can call for extra towels if needed). All staff were great. An unexpected benefit was the airline check-in / baggage delivered to airline upon departure. All transportation services were excellent. Don’t count on good food at the food court but coffee and soft drinks are available early and late.

After staying at the Grand on previous trip I was nervous to try a value resort. However, we were very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in the Dalmatians renovated Preferred rooms on the second floor. Our room was clean and had plenty of space for the two of us. My husband left his suitcase on the table and I unpacked and slid my suitcase under the bed. I really liked all the cubbies in the sink area and the shower area was very clean with lots of hooks and bars for towels. My husband met me from another Orlando area conference hotel after meetings so I rented a car for us. $13/day for parking was fine for us and included parking at the parks (I think) and other resorts. It was worth the convenience of not messing with busses and schedules, etc. On our last day we went to the food court for breakfast and relaxed by the pool. The food is the same you would pay $55 pp at a character breakfast except it’s $11 so definitely a good value for Mickey waffles, sausage and eggs! The cheesy potatoes were delicious as well. We didn’t get the refillable mugs but a regular coffee cup was affordable and generously sized. The pool was nice enough for two adults not interested in slides. We will be back with our kids in the Spring! The hotel will be great for our kids and us as well!
