Went with my Sons family to celebrate his 40th birthday. He found Garza Blanca and recommended we try it. We loved it. Staff was excellent. Service Excellent. Location breath taking. We were in bldg. 5 with panoramic views of ocean and surrounding area. My sons family loved the various hikes, kayaking, paddle boarding etc.. We loved just laying around the pool or lounging in our suite hot tub. Pool staff was excellent. We were lucky that pool near buildings 4 & 5 had just been renovated and reopened the week we were there. Restaurants were great. Food and bar service in pool area was fantastic. Everything was clean and Covid compliant. Construction noise on new high rise next door was a non-issue. Faded as background noise. Highway at bottom of hill was nosier. Planning to go again sometime early next year.

Had to be one of the most rememberable anniversaries we’ve had in a long time thanks to the Garza Blanca team. Wanted to do this to give a special thanks to everyone that took care of us and treated us like a king and queen the entire time we were there. We love this place and enjoy every minute. Everyone followed the rules for Covid it was actually guests that were not following rules and also pushing some to the limits. Our only regret would be that when guests come to the site they were expected to follow the rules the same way the members are, Every day we would get up and walk from the fourth tower to the beach have breakfast. special thanks to Cecilia and her team at Blanca Blue every morning was greeted like we were coming down to the kitchen in our home. While down on the beach of course we were greeted by our friendly security Javier Suarez. We have been very good friends with him and he always gives us a special feeling and checks on us from time to time. This time we met Israel which always helped us pick a good seat on the beach to get started. Our favorite number one waiter on the beach was Fernando a very nice young man that was very attentive and we struck up some good conversations to help him pass the day. On our anniversary night at Bocado’s I got to sneak down while the wife was in the shower and gave an anniversary ring to the manager to put something on a plate to present to her. When it was time for dinner I was very amazed at what they did in such a short time, my wife was very grateful as well and they made our experience wonderful !! On most nights we made our way up to the Mussai The top roof to gaze at the wonderful skyline. There we were greeted by Gustavo and his wonderful team to make our time upstairs very nice. It was nice to talk to all of the staff about Covid how their families and our families are doing in the struggles that we are all having to go through to make our trip possible in our family safe. On other nights we would go to the Hiroshi for dinner and were greeted by a pretty girl by the name of Jenny that we remember from our previous trips and she seated us in the best places possible for a sunset. It was good to be greeted and recognized by Christian and Irving who were tag teaming our table just to catch up and talk about Covid times. It was funny to go back and open up pictures from several years ago with the same two young men and always more professional and on point. The chef Humberto made a special drop by our table to say hello and made sure we enjoyed our time at Hiroshi. When dinner was over we didn’t wanna leave so we just stepped out to the bar and were listening to the young lady play the saxophone. Our wonderful bartender that was always very polite her name is Yesenia. She made a fantastic Carajillo And a coffee martini that was so smooth and yummy. As always with the terrain on the resort you can’t forget to mention your trolley driver Marco this guy was very excited to see everyone get on the trolley with a smile behind the mask and offering to sanitize your hands he explained that he cleans the bus as much as he can between guests. The next morning we went downstairs to go hiking and super ambitious Energetic young man by the name of Tito And Jose Luis greeted us and prepped us for a long hike. The hike did not seem long at all due to the beautiful scenery and the continuous stories about the tour from Tito. Once you get to the beautiful waterfall you get to spend a few minutes there swimming or just taking photos and taking the beautiful scenery in. I have to say If I fail to mention anyone from my wonderful trip forgive me because the entire team was very good and attentive. Thank you all so much continue to be safe and can’t wait to see you next year. Love JD and Carmen Marshall!

We went to Garza Blanca for a family vacation the second week of November. We have four kids, and could go on forever about how great this resort was! The food and drinks are excellent, there is a variety of foods for adults and kids, and one person in our family has food allergies and the resort was very accommodating and had many gluten free options. The drinks were also amazing, they have top shelf liquor, and will also make any drink you want. Aside from the food and the drinks, the service was the best part! The staff at this resort are so friendly and attentive and go above and beyond to satisfy the guests! Our favorite staff members at the whole resort were Alex and Juan at the pool/beach. These two are so hardworking and fun, they truly made our vacation and experience better. Our concierge was Rosie and she was so sweet and helpful! She planned all of our activities and dinners, and was very understanding when we would come to her late day asking for a dinner reservation. She always asked us if there is anything else she can help us with, and checked in with us through out our stay. Another huge benefit of this resort is their amazing kids club. Normally our kids aren't very interested in a kids club, or it costs more and isn't included so we don't do it, but the kids club at Garza Blanca is amazing!! We would have to drag our kids out of the kids club because they were having so much fun! Vanessa and Monica were the two supervisors and our kids loved them so much! The kids club has great activates and a super flexible schedule, our kids would just pop in and out throughout the day for the activities they wanted to do. The supervisors will also bring the kids down to you at the pool or beach at the end of an activity, which saved us parents a ton of time and effort having to go back and forth. We will definitely be going back to this resort, and we can't wait to see our favorite staff members again!

The drive thru downtown was nice but as we were getting closer to Garza Blanca the scenery became more dramatic and awe inspiring as we entered the jungle and Sierra Madres. I was very impressed upon my arrival at Garza Blanca however Hotel Mousai for guests over the age of 18, my full attention was grasped immediately. The studio that I was shown was beyond measure that had a balcony with not a hammock but a jacuzzi as well. The Rooftop boasts an area on the 18th floor with an infinity pool and full bar where one can have craft cocktails and snacks whilst taking in breathtaking views of Banderas Bay and Puerta Vallarta. I cannot wait to return to Puerto Vallarta so I can enjoy all of the amenities of Garza Blanca which will be in the near future.

Free breakfast package vs timeshare awkwardness

Trip breakdown: -Pre-visit concierge (treats you like an adult on vacation) -Registration host concierge (treats you like an adult on vacation) -Staff (treats you like an adult on vacation) -Timeshare folks (treats you like a villain on vacation when you say no) Choose your vacation package wisely since timeshare silliness not explained anywhere on any booking websites (ie hotels.com). We don't mind the vip offering concierge gave to us willingly at check-in, but we did not appreciate the timeshare management blaming concierge for misleading us about breakfast presentation on our first day. It was clear we paid for breakfast package...not a timeshare presentation that wastes vacation time. Kinda awkward when you have to see concierge everyday taking blame for timeshare managements misleading us. Other than that...everything else was awesome. That's all I have to say.
