    I wanted to surprise my wife for her 50 birthday celebration and made the Ski view roof top jacuzzi suite on the Majestic Mirage as the ideal place just for the amazing pictures seen in different websites. It has been one of the best experiences in our life. Our personal concierge Jorge Luis Tirado was the main key that made this 50 birthday celebration for my wife a unforgettable moment for us, from the moment we arrived, to the best restaurants reservations (we never ask he just say Primo I’ll take care of it, and he delivered 100%) and best of all he decorated our room with balloons and rose petals on the day of the celebration to give my wife the best surprise and the happiest smile on her beautiful face. Thank to you Jorge Luis Tirado and to all the happy and friendly Majestic Mirage staff. For sure will come back to see you again.

    This is probably my 10th or 11th time visiting the mirage. We went right after they reopened. I cannot express how GREAT OF A TIME WE HAD - as always! In spite of all the craziness, the staff went above and beyond to make sure things felt “normal”. I want to give a special shout out to my good friend Elvis - he is the premier butler at the resort. Elvis “gets” it. If he was in the U.S., I would hire him instantly to work for my real estate brokerage. He knows how to take care of guests/clients :) Thank you to everyone there and I cannot wait to go back in june!!!

    Property is nice. Beach is clean. Property definitely needed some more work before re-opening. Took us about 3 days to get our jacuzzi fixed in our sky view room. Check in was chaotic. Darling checked us in and basically tried to get a $40 tip for “upgrading” us to a sky view “ocean view” room. When we got there, the ocean was not really visible and the room was filthy and had so many bugs. I was literally killing them while we were walking through the room. She was very deceptive. She tried to put us in a part of the hotel that was not really ready for guests. Bad start. So we asked to go back to our originally booked room and what do you know? No bugs! It was mind-boggling. We had construction in the room right beside us so during the day it was constant noise. We couldn’t take it anymore and had to call down to ask them to stop the drilling. They stopped for a day or so and then resumed. We had no wash clothes. Only bath towels and hand towels. Our air conditioning wasn’t working properly either so the room felt damp and wouldn’t cool down. I will say that they responded to the repair requests quickly. We booked for 7 days and decided to leave the property on day 5 due to our dissatisfaction with how upper management handled a situation. We booked directly with Majestic Mirage and after speaking to a number of guests on the property we came to learn that they booked with Majestic Elegance but were upgraded to Majestic Mirage because Elegance is closed. No problem. However, we paid $600 more for the same property. That is a problem. They knowingly kept booking people for the Elegance property knowing it was closed and still charged the Mirage guests more than the Elegance guests. So we voiced our concerns to management and inquired if they could offer us some spa services. First, they offered us a bunch of “perks” if we returned. When we told them that was offensive because we’re dealing with the issue right now they offered us 25 min massages each. Slap in the face. So we decided to leave, we went to the Westin PuntaCana Resort and Spa and it was the best decision we ever made. As far as the service, it was good. Drinks were watered down though. Food was subpar in the buffets but we had some special meals made for us by the executive chef Andres which were amazing. Hibachi restaurant was good but some chefs are better than others. We went twice. First night the chef was amazing. Second night, the chef basically had the grill so high he was burning the food. The server tried to tell him as well but he didn’t seem to want to listen. Seaside restaurant was good as well. We went twice. One particular server by the name of Luis was beyond exceptional. This young man was simply amazing and I can see him running the place in a few years. He really made our trip not a total disaster. Our butler Arling was very good as well and on top of anything we needed. Overall, we wouldn’t return to this property based on our experience.

    This is one of the best resort I’ve ever been the service is excellent the butler was exceptional his name is Victor I will highly recommend this resort to any family, couple and friends I can’t wait to come back see you soon Majestic Mirage resort.

    We were lucky enough to get away for a week to the beautiful Majestic Mirage in Punta Cana! We had been to the Colonial in 2008 & the Elegance in 2017. The hotel is stunning just as I expected! We had a gorgeous corner suite swim up room (6107) which we loved! Shout out to Juan who provided great service by the pool! Check in was a breeze as we were Mirage club! Our butler Reinoso (Rey) did a good job...a little touch and go in the beginning...but in the end he did a great job! A little reminder that they have been closed for 8 months and I believe they haven't brought back enough of the staff. Rey took us up to view a roof top suite so that we could show a friend back home. The pool was beautiful & very quiet in building 6. The beach was gorgeous & so clean! The sand was very nice and no need for water shoes! All of the restaurants were great! We only did the breakfast buffet once..food was good we just felt like it was a little too busy for us and honestly not enough servers behind the counter...as you can’t serve yourself. They were doing a great job distancing people at the buffet and changing linens and cleaning after each guest. After that we ordered room service for breakfast or went to the sports bar and ate in the open market area. One thing about the sports bar...I tried twice to order American breakfast eggs, bacon, sausage, toast...& both times got and omelette & fried potatoes lol...no biggie for me the omelette was delicious! My fault I’m in their country and should learn some Spanish lol. After dinner we hung out at the lower level bar...very quiet.. we had the most amazing service from the staff there! One firecracker there was Tehani...you could see/feel her smile through her mask! The one place that definitely needs work is the coffee shop...I shouldn’t feel like they’re doing me a favour by being there ?? this was the only place we experienced this. I asked for a Spanish coffee..she starts making something that clearly isn’t a Spanish coffee..I try to stop her and explain and she continues...by the end she’s yelling at me in Spanish...so not ok. Anyways that was really my only bad experience. If you have a chance to walk down the beach it’s very eye opening and puts things in perspective...the other resorts look abandoned, it’s very sad. If you have the chance to go and support Punta Cana and the workers please do...& Remember to tip...8 months & no work! Overall we had an amazing time! I absolutely love the layout of this resort & would return for sure, ?? One note if you book the colonial or Elegance in the next few months you’ll probably be upgraded ?????
