We booked the Dreams Wedding Package in 2019 after my boyfriend proposed in Mexico during our stay in December2019. This year returned on were married there on the resort on 11/12/2020. It was amazing. We were familiar with the staff from the year before and seeing familiar faces was incredible. I can't say enough about my Wediing Coordinator, Brenda. She made everything stress free and she was so delightful to work with. She made it perfect.

First off, the staff could not be any better! Any concerns were handled immediately. The location is great, Puerto Aventuras is an entire gated town. Our family felt very safe walking around the marina, shops and restaurants off resort but still within town. Dolphins in the marina and in the bay within the resort were fun and even the wild ones interact with you. If you throw seaweed to them the flung it back using their mouth and they are more accurate than Aaron Rodgers! (I live in Wisconsin so I had to use a Green Bay Packer reference) The resort's beach is gorgeous, full of soft white sand. The only drawback is the lack of restaurant selection. Please understand that they just had 2 nearly back to back hurricanes within w weeks prior to my visit. The Mexican and seafood restaurant are being rebuilt. It's a hit or miss what restaurant is open for dinner and what they might be serving as well as what is availablefrom a pretty limited room service menu. Again, they've been closed for 5 months, reopened for 2 and had 2 hurricanes so I won't hold this against the resort, but it was a little irritating.

The waiters also amazing fernando dulce etc, I must say overall costumer service the top of the top! The beach is the best because is like a golf so it suits Perfect for little ones, very safe. Thanks Everyone at Dreams for making our stay fabulous!!

Booking All Inclusive is BREAKFAST ONLY

We booked our "All Inclusive" reservation for this place, come to find out its "All Inclusive" BREAKFAST ONLY, you will have to pay an additional $50/day to get to the All inclusive that you already booked. This is some shady stuff, they know you just took an expensive shuttle and taxi to get there and you don't really have an option to leave so most will pay. Before you go to this place doesn't matter if your reservation says all inclusive, call them and make sure it is and ask them to send you an email stating your reservation is all inclusive.

Wonderful staff in difficult pandemic times

We have visited this small resort for many years. The staff is what keeps us coming back. They are absolutely tremendous. Having just opened on October 1 due to the pandemic and suffering Hurricane Delta only a week later , we were very impressed by the precautions every one working there were taking. All staff wore masks the entire time; there was social distancing with the tables in the restaurants; constant cleaning and disinfecting; sheets changed every day in our rooms. The cleaning staff and maids work tirelessly and are so friendly. The hotel was not at capacity so all the restaurants weren't open every day - they had a revolving schedule. But the food was excellent and the precautions they took by serving everyone, even at the buffet, was appreciated. The hotel is somewhat dated, with the need for more lighting in the rooms, new lampshades needed, etc. But these are small details when the staff make you feel so special. Everyone there is wonderful, but special shout outs to some outstanding employees. Marilu on the 7th floor Preferred Club was wonderful every morning, helping us carry coffee and juice to our rooms. Everyone of the bartenders are like old friends - they know your drink after the first day. But a special thanks to Veronica, our waitress on the beach each day. She is outstanding, works so hard, but takes the time to make each guest feel welcome. We always seek out her and her welcoming smile! As for the servers, Jose at night works so hard, but is so friendly, always with a smile. At breakfast, Julian has been our requested server for the last 3 years - he remembers our special requests from one year to the next. Outstanding service and so sweet. We will see him again next year, as there is no one we would rather have at breakfast. We have to recognize a special server that we had most nights, unless he was off work. Marcos Filiberto - thank you for making us feel so special. As we are vegetarians, sometimes the menu for the restaurants that were opened offered limited items for us. He would seek us out and prepare special dishes for us, sometimes having to go to different areas to have our food prepared. He was our server for a special dinner our last night, and we could not ask for better service anywhere. Gracias, nuestro amigo y tu esposa! Giovanni - your name must always be mentioned in these reviews as being the best entertainment staff person we have ever encountered in the 25 years I have been coming to Cancun and Riviera Maya. Your smile is infectious, it is obvious you love entertaining the guests and getting them involved - tu tambien eres un maravilloso amigo! Finally, there was a new concierge we had not met before. Her name is Justine. She was absolutely outstanding. The care she takes with her guests, the special attention she shows, her attention to detail, all speak to her dedication to her work. She found out we were celebrating a cancer-free diagnosis, and went out of her way on several occasions to make this trip an absolutely unforgettable one. She even went so far as to make a Wonder Woman costume for our celebration on the last day of our trip, along with arranging a special dinner and a special surprise. Muchas gracias, nuestra amiga! This is not a mega resort nor the Ritz. But if you want to go somewhere that the staff treats you like old friends, I cannot recommend Dreams PA enough.
