Everyone at the hotel was very accommodating and made us feel right at home! Leslie hosted so many fun activities for us at the pool and the beach. Joe the bellboy/golf cart driver was a blast and made each trip around the resort so much fun. Gabrielle at the lobby bar was an amazing waitress and remembered our coffee order every morning. We’ll definitely be back, very much so due to the amazing hospitality by the staff.
Perfect quick getaway

My husband and I had been trying to take a Mexico vacation for the last year. After two canceled trips due to covid, we booked this resort as a last minute getaway. We arrived the day it opened back up and were the second group to check in. There were a few hiccups during our 6 days, but it was all minimal and handled in a timely manor. Big shout out to Joe the bell boy! He kept us entertained and was always quick to pick us up and was very helpful. We really enjoyed all the food. While we were slightly disappointed when we found out we could only get 3 al a carte reservations, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of food served at the buffet. The bartenders were all fantastic and make some mean mojitos. Loved the pools and how spacious they were. They never seemed crowded. The beach had plenty of loungers and the sand was super soft. Over all we really enjoyed our trip and would definitely return in the future.
We found a new home.

The people were the most amazing we have ever encountered. The grounds are amazing and beautiful, unlike any jungle paradise we have ever imagined. The wildlife are always show stoppers. Our check in experience was less than stellar, but Abel was able to find us the perfect rooms to meet our needs. We immediately felt at ease like family when we meet Marco and Carlos (Charli). We began requesting them specifically and then met Joe. These three went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of in every aspect. Anytime we needed anything, these men were there with capes on like superheroes. We also had amazing dining experiences thanks to our waiters at the buffet, Vicente and Regulo. They were the faces we looked for when we arrived to eat because we knew they were the best. They remembered our drinks and made sure we always had a full glass with a smile or a joke. We are avid cruisers, but with the cruise ship industry down, we have found our new home at this property and can’t wait to go back! Thank you so much for all you have done Carlos, Marco, and Joe.
Fun Girls' Trip!

Paraiso Beach was the first all-inclusive that I and my travel buddies had been to and overall we had a great time! There were some problems with communication (language barrier aside), and some issues with room service but overall the staff was pretty accommodating, and we had a good trip. One concierge in particular named Alberto was so awesome, he helped us out even when he was off the clock! He made us feel so welcomed and whenever he saw us, he immediately asked if he could help us with anything. Also, we hadn't booked any excursions in advance but there was an Expedia rep on premise named Josue who helped us choose a day trip and gave us a discount, which was great! Now for the not great things: 1. the food at the resort was fair to good, it was never great. And dinner reservations were always booked so we had to eat a the buffet most nights. (I'll note that anytime we ate out in town, the food in Playa was ALWAYS better than at the resort!) 2. Our room was supposed to be a suite with beach access but there was nothing "suite" about it, it was just a standard room with an obscured view of the beach. 3. We were there for 5 days and didn't have hot water for 3 of them, which sucked. 4. The premise is very expansive and their passenger golf carts didn't run as often as stated so we did a lot of unplanned walking. All that being said, considering our budget we had a good time and we'll likely be going back to Iberostar next year!
