Worst ever wifi

Kadir A on Apr 07, 2024

Worst ever wifi I have ever used at any hotel in any city in this century! It keeps disconnecting. You need to click “forget this network” every ten minutes re-login. If it does login again, you can enjoy the wifi for another ten minutes. Just terrible.

sliding downhill

J745BKjj on Apr 06, 2024

I've been coming here for about 15 years for business meetings and this place has gone seriously downhill over the years, I had planned my two days tightly for my meetings and built in room service meals so that I wouldn't have to waste time to go hunting for food and wait in lines. I needed to work. But there's no room service even though they say they offer it. Also clock was at the wrong time and for some reason they use complicated clocks so that I couldn't set it (I wouldn't even care but I don't want to look at the clock in the middle of the night and be misled). Also they only gave you 1 tiny toilet paper roll and they don't provide extra so I had to waste time calling down (Hilton is hoarding toilet paper?). And iron didn't work. I know these things are small but they add up. And I don't mean to sound petty but coming here and paying high prices you expect the basic conveniences of a great hotel so you can get on with your plans, but everything about this place was inconvenient. Next time I'll stay at a different hotel, and as an officer of two associations that contract with this hotel for our conferences, I'll be sure to rethink our contracts. The staff that are here are great. I don't blame them. But I get the sense they are understaffed and that the Hilton managers did the numbers & calculated they don't want to hire more or train properly.

Good convention hotel with a very nice staff.

We were greeted very pleasantly on arrival. We booked a one bedroom suite and it was spacious and comfortable . Our views were very nice from 16 floor. The hotel in not a small boutique but caters more to conferences. The location is close to union square. The area is suffering with stores closing and homeless. Pity.

Drastic Changes Needed

david w (Gordon, Australia) on Mar 31, 2024

We stayed here for 4 nights and as Loyal Hilton Honors member, this would be worst Hilton by far. Management needs a serious shake up. 1. Offered an upgrade for a larger room for an additional $90 per night which we accepted. What reception didn’t tell us it was right next to the lift foyer. In addition there were two more lifts that backed up to our room which were loud due to the constant rumbling (lifts are old and need a refurbishment. 2. Rooms are tired and very dated and need refurbishment. 3. There is NO restaurant in the hotel. Is Hilton serious??? 4. The hotel is in location which feels unsafe. We witnessed drug affected people enter the hotel and security did nothing. 5. The hotel appears to be suffering with very low occupancy rates and is pitching towards corporate clients. Bars are noisy and packed. There is NO usb ports in room, are you serious??? Hotel staff told us to go out and buy a charger. Unbelievable and rude reception staff. We won’t be back.

Great location. Some homelessness around hotel which is not good. Want to shout out to Abduhlla Q. At the front desk. His service was amazing and he helped us so much with checking in and checking out. Really appreciated his patience and courtesy to accommodate our needs. Abdullah Q was awesome.
