This was our last stay of our Trafalgar tour, and the hotel did not disappoint our group after a number of other hotel stays. The hotel is in a good location to the wharf area, and trams are right next to the hotel. Breakfasts each morning were filling & had plenty of variety for us to start our expeditions in the city. The staff were very friendly & helpful when needed. Would definitely stay at the Hyatt again dur to location, rooms & service.

Hyatt San Francisco is a terrific hotel. Located in a strategic place, close to the city and not so far from the pier 39/ Fisherman's Wharf. The staff is quite competent and the rooms are comfortable and pretty wide.

Excellent experience - wonderful customer service! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco. In addition, many great restaurants are in close proximity. I also like the convenience of Walgreens being across the street.

    Ferry building view

Stayed at one of the small but modern rooms from late 2019 with direct view to the ferry building. The view is fantastic, the brutalist architecture of the hotel is interesting, and the location is perfect for public transport. But the room IS small, there is no inside handle on the sliding shower door, the water pressure in the shower will make a cat happy, and the destination fee... they don’t tell and don’t expect a gift or anything else of what is mentioned on their home page. A complete scam. So... location but bad service. Not worth repeating.

A busy hotel in the heart of it all! While I typically prefer smaller properties, this hotel did have a very comfortable feel. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms (mine was #1406 with a partial view of the GG bridge) and the quietness in the hallways. The rooms were clean and contained a safe and small refrigerator. I also noticed that the elevators always worked, so waiting was limited! I enjoyed dining (both in my room and in the lobby restaurant) and felt that the quality was good and the price was fair. Service was consistent and friendly all around the property. The property is a little older but still holds it own and is worth a stay. Location, location, location. You can walk or take a short Uber ride to enjoy a variety of dining and shopping options. Additionally this property has one of the better fitness centers I have seen in a hotel. Ample dumbbells, cardio and nautilus equipment is available.
