Well worth the money

I can’t say enough about the attentiveness and courteousness of the staff or the overall quality of the property. The grounds were elegant and well-kept and had the feel of a well manicured jungle. We had a swim up room, and I will never go to another Caribbean resort without a similar type room. We stayed at the Royal Sandals, which is directly adjacent to the original sandals. Guests from either of the resorts can use the facilities at either campus, and it is laid out so well that you really can’t tell when you’re leaving one facility and going into the other one. It’s essentially having two different resorts at your disposal. Another plus is that the resort was only a 15 minute ride from the airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and I would’ve given my review five stars were it not for the restaurants. The food was somewhat above average, though certainly not spectacular. The one thing I found to be totally unacceptable was the reservations system for our dinner meals. At the restaurants that require reservations for dinner, we were only able to get seating times at 5:15 or 8:30. It would seem to indicate that there are not enough restaurants to allow reasonable times for dining. For the money we paid, eating at 5:15, as we did on several nights, should be totally unacceptable to Sandals management as it was for us. That problem aside, we so enjoyed our time there that we have already made reservations for next year.

Best experience of my adult life! Food was great. Weather was amazing. The staff and employees were exceptionally friendly and efficient. I could not get over how clean and well kept the resort was. The beach was beautiful. Our Butlers were the absolute best!
