HAD A BLAST!! Amazing staff

Had an awesome time with family visiting this resort. The staff made the trip. Had a few favorites but my top favorite was Daniel all the way! Very friendly, outgoing and always made our day when we saw his smiling face!!! The trip would not have been the same without him. Food was just ok....but overall experience 4.5 stars (fan only choose 4 or 5 rating..everything was perfect besides food)

Trip was super fun make sure to meet Daniel on the activity advisor staff here, he made the trip 10x better. He’s always got your back and is super fun to hangout with. Whenever we did any activity he made it better.

you got tiny portions of dishes made of frozen food with very poor choice and variety. I would rate McDonalds higher then this place. I met few other folks on the trip. Everyone had the same opinion. The only other option is to fight for the restoraunt reservation.

The hotel staff is very nice and accommodating. We received an upgrade to an ocean view with a terrace. The pool is lovely as well as the beautiful beach. The bartenders are great (thanks Alejandro). The snack bar is replenished everyday as well as different options for food throughout the day. We had a great trip! But heads up it’s better to secure your own airport transportation.

Cancun Spring Amazing Vacation

My wife and I stayed at the Occidental Costa Cancun in June 2018 and decided to come back for our Spring Vacation. The hotel has been kept and it looks like new. We rented a Junior Suite and the bed was very comfortable and the jacuzzi in the terrace was very relaxing. The room was huge and it has a big bathroom, there’s a bar with a refrigerator that has and array of sodas, beer and bottle water. The restaurant food in the Buffet was above average; however, we received amazing service from all the waiters and the the restaurant host “Luis Miguel” was very nice, attentive and cordial towards my wife and I. He went the extra mile to help us bring the plates to our table. If you want to eat at the fine dining restaurant, I will highly recommend you to visit the lobby early in the morning, but my restaurant of choice was Claraboya. The food was amazing and the Lobster tails were delicious and worthy to pay the extra charge. The pool and the beach area was very clean and there are a whole bunch of areas with hand sanitizers all over the resort. Also, we had the opportunity to use the fitness center/gym and it was very clean and had a lot of cardio, dumbbell and weight machines equipment. Finally, we received outstanding service from Elena in the front desk and the bell person Mauricio Gomez was very attentive too. In conclusion, I’ve stayed in 5 star resorts in the past and this resort is definitely a little higher than a 4 out of 5. Thank you for a great vacation and we hope to return in the future.
