My wife and I are just home from a one-week West Jet vacation at this resort. We LOVED it! Check-in was seamless. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was it did not have a fridge, which we could have obtained if we wanted to switch rooms. We chose not to. This property is exactly what we expected from the research we did in advance. Yes it is an older hotel with some wear and tear at the edges, but very clean and well maintained. The setting is unbeatable! It is quiet and relaxing, which is exactly what we wanted. The beach was gorgeous, the pool, lounge area, hot tub and snack bar were never crowded. The meal selection at the buffet was adequate but well prepared, especially the breakfast and omelet station. Service was EVERYTHING at Posada Real, from the chamber maids to the front desk staff, the cleaners and gardeners to the wait staff. Our personal kudos go out to young Antonio at the snack bar and Onuel in the Cactus Buffet. Both went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We cannot say enough good things about the concierge staff, in particular lovely Lupita. She was simply one of the nicest and most professional people we have ever met. She helped us in so many ways and we will describe just two. When my knees gave way on me, Lupita jumped in to the rescue. She phoned numerous stores for us and found a walker on sale at Walmart. She sent her daughter to buy it and assemble it for us. She also went to a bank on her own time for us to obtain smaller US Dollar denominations for gratuities when we ran low. We sincerely hope that hotel management recognize the jewel they have with Lupita! We are already looking forward to another visit this fall. Many thanks.

We loved everything about this resort. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the restaurant serves decent meals buffet style and cooked as needed, the bar offerings are great, the beds are comfy, housekeeping is thorough, the property is well maintained, and best of all the water is completely safe! The activities guy is great. There is a small convenience store on site where you can buy chips, knick-knacks, sunscreen etc It is a nice walk into the main square where the Art market is held every Thurs evening. There are some nice shops and restaurants a couple of blocks away. There are a couple of large grocery stores in easy walking distance.

Normally I post reviews praising establishments, and keep the little things to myself, however on this occasion I have to be critical. I appreciate the design and architecture of older hotels, as long as they are maintained, unfortunately the Posada Real Los Cabos, a WESTJET recommended resort, is not one of them. Poorly painted doors, paint peeling of the ceiling on the patio, deadbolt on door not working, along with no striker plate on door jam, reported five times to no avail, shower water not being contained within the glassed area, cabinet doors hanging loose, draws not on runners, bedside table lamp held together with zipties, air conditioning . The food was mediocre, the most enjoyable meal, being omelet for breakfast. The STAFF, SERVERS, and CLEANERS etc. could not have been more accommodating, it is a shame the front desk and management could not have had the same customer service attitude.

This is a budget friendly resort and that's it. Don't expect the frills. Having said that this was my second 3wk vacation here. We only did breakfast and it was adequate enough. The rooms are find but the pillows are lumpy. It's close to some good restaurants and the mall so we had supper out every evening. Also close to the bus stop to San Lucas and we made that trip 4 times. We enjoyed our vacation at the posada real but like I said if budget friendly is your thing then this is a good resort. Don't expect the frills and don't complain.

We loved everything about our time at this resort! The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. The food was excellent and plenty of different options everyday from western to authentic local dishes. Try the coffee, delicious! The taco shack at the pool was our preferred spot for lunch. The bar was able to make you anything you could desire just don't go expecting high end whiskey and you will be happy! The beach is fantastic and the partial ocean view room doesn't do the view justice, we could see whales breaching from the balcony. This place is made for relaxing and is easily accessible for excursions. The staff make this place though, everyone from check in to check out were wonderful, even the security were pleasant and greeted us everyday. The restaurant staff and chefs making breakfast and dinner learned our names and remembered our tastes! The housekeepers were so helpful! Special shout out to Julio and Eder at the bar and Jerry the activities host who all made our visit extra special!
