I arrived on Thursday just before 5 and was escorted to my room. I paid for ocean front and was taken to a back corner cottage. We had to go back to the front desk and get the “right” key and go to a different cottage. My “ocean front” cottage was behind a fence and across the sidewalk from the beach. Also right next to the kitchen so very loud most of the day and night. I also missed being able to get food after almost 12 hours of traveling because it was after 5 when I got to my room and the dinner buffet didn’t start until 630. On Friday. I tried to get some lunch in the buffet but was told it was over even though there were still people filling their plates. So I went to the snack bar to get something and finally got waited on after about 15 other people that came in after me. On Friday night buffet, I left my drink and utensils on the table to get dessert and when I came back they were gone. Saturday I went to lunch buffet at 1pm and the meat was all gone and the rest of the buffet was almost gone. They were even out of napkins! Saturday night buffet, same thing happened when I went up for dessert. 2 full drinks and utensils gone. Also, the dining room is so dark at night you have no idea what the dishes are or what’s on your plate. My husband and I were here numerous times between 1999 and 2004 and it was always a wonderful place. The last time I was here was 20 years ago and it has gone way downhill since then. The grounds and beach are not kept up like they used to be and they definitely don’t make a solo traveler feel very welcome. Glad I only booked 3 nights! Pretty sure this will be my last time here.

accommodation basic but clean just needs updating, bed was very comfortable surrounding gardens well kept ,a lot of the sunbeds in poor condition, The food was edible problem was most of the time you have to go searching for cutlery thats unless you want to flash a dollar or two, then you will be surrounded by staff if ive paid all inclusive i have already paid for a service if i feel the staff member as provided a above service i have no problem tipping if the management allow this to happen it will put a lot of people off re booking and as ive given it two stars you can guess i wont be back ,saying that the staff are not only the problem i watched a guest roll up the sunbed lounger mattress and take it back to his room leaving a wooden sunbed which other guest could not use

There is so much wrong with this hotel and it is a shame, money over hospitality. No knives, forks or spoons most days having to ask and told none available. Food in main restaurant always cold 20/30 min wait for an omelette Water, toiletries and towels missing from room daily and taking up to 2 hour to get them delivered Not enough outdoor sitting in the evening only about 8 tables and 20 chairs For the show they put out more chairs lined up like an assembly One bar staff was disgusting towards both men and women, asking if he could suck their T*ties and do them A*ally. This is not normal behaviour, and off putting. Snack bar took over an hour to get food if not longer. One member of staff and a cook is not enough to feed 20-40 people. The decameron manager came to the hotel putting on a cocktail event, they spoke to tui customers, asking what where the problems as English people are not booking, n poor reviews given. Even when told there was many excuses and no answers. I have never been on holiday where so many people where excited to go home. This is pontius ( after it was shut down) the chalets looked idyllic from the outside. Shabby inside. Dangerous electrics. Bad plumbing. Not to mention the reggae outside disco every night till 2am. Also second rate food etc etc did I mentio n that we had to wait all afternoon before our room was ready.

Checked in Sunday march 31 to April 2 When we went to dinner 8:45pm buffee style but knowing some hotels u ofto get ur table first so we stand at a table server came and said that table is dirty go get ur meal and come back it will ready when we get back no table cloth on the table so we stand and i ask is this our table waitress said yes i said without a table cloth she said u need one? Yes, i was like really to myself there about 3 minutes no one so when i look i saw a different waitress i said can u get a table cloth please she bring it and spread the table and left no silver wares i ofto call a waitress and asked for silver wares got it no juice no water so i ofto call again asked for juice and asked what time they close because i cannt believe the service the waitress said 9:30 so i asked why there isnt no service i ofto be calling for everything her response was " a break we a break down" Monday mrng breakfast I realize no service I sit there for 10mins no silver wares no coffee no water i got my juice from the buffee i ofto walk and ho to a waitress she said its not her station but she soon come when she came i adk her for coffee she say " a help mi a help out a is not my station" few minutes later I saw a waiter and ask for some coffee and he give us lunch no service jus the same dinner no service jus the same while walking towards a waitress a male supervisor/ manager stopped me and asked if I am ok i said i am sitting for a while and no silverwares he said sorry about that and he called someone to get me some and that was it because i ofto go for my own juice from the bar it was his birthday and i feel so bad because we were searching for a good one and choose garbage to spend our time tuesday morning breakfast was the same so i guess its the norm lunch i didnt expect better so i jus relax myself. All the bartenders who i came in contact with was nice especially the female bartender at the bar down by the sea side think her name is Odette she was nice I am not a alcoholic person. When going my room i ofto be running inside the sewage stinks its right infront the door. People dont expect service at this hotel jus go there for the pool, beach and stay at the Bar where service is because the waitress them going standing up at the entrance chatting while we eat with our fingers and go for our own stuff.
