Hotel staff members who go the extra mile!

I stayed here when visiting Nashville for work in March, 2019. It's everything you need for a work trip - very comfortable rooms, pleasant and efficient interactions with staff, etc. I had access to the Club Lounge. It was really nice after a long day of meetings to grab a light dinner, a water bottle, and a hot chocolate from the Starbucks machines. But what really made this hotel stay special was what happened after. A few days after I checked out, I was unpacking and noticed that I was missing a very special item. I'm a grown woman but I like to travel with my stuffed bunny that I've had since 2nd grade. I called the hotel and talked to the lost and found department, but they hadn't located it. I was so sad to have misplaced a special item that I've had for 25+ years! A few days later, I tweeted at the hotel and they wrote back that they'd check again. Then one day, I got a call from Jeanette O. in Loss Prevention - she had my bunny! They fedexed it to me and we are reunited. I SO appreciate the staff at the Renaissance Nashville for going the extra mile. A big thank you, especially to the Loss Prevention & Social Media teams for making that effort.

Stayed here April 2019 with 4 friends...so close to Broadway and all the honky tonks. Wonderful staff, very helpful and hotel is super clean. The bar on 3rd floor is is a great alternative to leaving the hotel for food and drinks. The only thing we didn’t like was the cost of the valet parking, almost 40.00 a day. The parking situation in downtown is horrendous.

    Great people, good property.

This is a huge Renaissance in the heart of downtown within easy walking distance to all that the neighborhood has to offer. The rooms are nothing special & in need of minor repairs. Like almost all older properties new outlets that are tight enough to hold a plug would be beneficial. I was told I was getting an upgraded room due to my Marriott status but that turned out to be incorrect. A standard 2 bed room. The staff was almost uniformly great. The lobby bar, The Fib, has uniformly slow service and a menu that tries too hard to be clever. The Bridge, a bar on the 3rd level that was once a pedway connecting a parking garage, was decent but has vertical lighting that creates more glare than illumination. I’m loyal to the Marriott brand and I’m sure I’d stay here again, but I’d know to have a conversation about what an ‘upgrade’ means and I’d do my cocktailing elsewhere.

Great location, nice pool & whirlpool, top notch services, great views no matter which room. Nice staff, great restaurant. Excellent location to downtown bars - only a small walk away! Love the bar ambiance, a little pricey. Can catch a cab out the door, or local bus down the road.

Newly renovated. Nicely appointed. Comfy beds

I'm always about the beds. Gotta have a good bed and this one does. Rooms are clean, well appointed and comfy. Beds are great. Good sleep. Was on an upper level room so street noise was not an issue. Would suggest asking for higher level room. I am not sure street noise would be an issue but there was a bunch of noise and construction on the street. This city is growing. While it is not in the heart of Nashville (if you consider broadway the 'heart' of this touristy city, it is centrally located and just a few blocks from most of the sites. Room rate was better than a few of the hotels that were a block closer. I will save money and walk the block - your choice.
