Sandals Negril was our first Sandals experience ...from arrival to departure our experience was amazing. The resort was so beautiful and the employees so genuinely nice and accommodating. We have to mention Leroy, Dean & Omar ...they were the doctors of mixology at the resort bars. Kendra and Kammola always greeted us with so much enthusiasm at the Bayside restaurant for breakfast each morning. Silena worked at a few of the restaurants & always made you feel so welcome with her awesome personality. Romario was the fitness instructor in the gym who was always cleaning the gym & making sure we had our water & work out towels. Rojay, Evon & Sonya in the Travel Loyalty area were always checking on us & helped us book another Sandals vacation. Pena, Desiree & ORyan were some of the very talented evening entertainment. And we can’t forget Ronald who found us a Jamaican newspaper & Stephany who waited on us hand and foot while we hung out at the beach & Sonique who captured priceless memories in our sunset photo shoot. Our thanks to others we didn’t not specifically mention ...too many to thank ...it takes so many to run such a top notch resort!!

Interesting resort. There were signs all over the resort that said masks on, however this was not enforced, and only employees wore masks. The bed was horrible, it felt as though I was sleeping on the floor. After the first night, I was tempted to fly back home, but after spending close to 1k/night I decided to stick it out, and count down to my departure. On one day, our room access door was left completely wide open, and the reason behind this was not discovered. Thankfully none of our stuff were stolen. The food was good, our butler Theda was amazing, we have a suite with a private pool which was great so that we didn't have to use the general pool. Overall it was a nice getaway, but the bed and the lack of mask enforcement definitely made it a thing of joy for my trip to be over.

The best for couples 5 stars all the way our Butler Floyd was the best he is the one who made this trip worth me visiting Sandals Negril again. This place is simply beautiful needs a little updating in the honeymoon suites the one we were assigned needed work the carpet was very dirty the floors were worn and the door in the bathroom was broken that suite was a disappointment. But the one they switched us to was the best thank you FFLOYD AND SANDALS.

This was our (the Wife and I) first time at a Sandals Resort. They definitely met all expectations and maybe even exceeded in a few areas. I love how much they offered their guest. The private transportation is definitely worth the money. I would be remised if I didn't mention a small problem I had with a couple of their staff. Don't know what the two gentlemen problem was with me but it was very evident every time I ordered a drink, it seemed they had a problem. The crazy part is the other guest to my left and right were taken care of with big smiles and laughter. To make a long story short, after a couple of encounters with these guys, I decided to bring my wife to the bar with me just to make sure I wasn't reading the situation wrong. I am a retired US Army Sergeant Major and I don't do very well with disrespect especially when you spend as much on trips like this. Well, she noticed it instantly and even asked the guys if they were ok. The attitude just kept going so I spoke my mind and let them know that I was reporting both of them. I met with one of the directors the next day. I never requested anything in return for being mistreated but I guess Sandals felt like they wanted to make it up to me so they covered my pictures I ordered from the resort. I was assured the two guys were reprimanded and that type of action was not allowed. Since Sandals did right by me, I will visit all of their properties. Next stop is April 2021 - Sandals Emerald Bay - BAHAMAS!!!

My wife and I just returned from our vacation to Sandals Negril. First and foremost, we had an amazing vacation and will definitely return! The resort, staff, atmosphere, and food were amazing to say the least. Here is a more detailed breakdown of our trip: The Arrival – We were met by the resort staff at the Sandals lounge in the airport. They quickly checked us in for our shuttle to the hotel and took care of our luggage. The shuttle to the resort was not packed, only about 8 people. The driver’s name was Clinton and he was amazing. He gave a great history lesson of the locations we drove through and was hilarious. When we arrived at the resort, we were greeted immediately, offered a delicious welcome drink and taken to our room, where we were given a detailed tour of our home for the next 6 nights. Our Butler – When booking we opted for the butler service and I highly recommend it. We had two butlers that took very good care of us. Their names were Chemoy and TJean. They always made sure we had everything we needed. They booked our dinners for us each day, helped with any excursions we wanted to do, and always made sure we had our spots reserved on the beach each day. They would also bring us snacks throughout the day, and always made sure our room was stocked with the drinks of our choice. There were several times we even returned to the room after a long day of fun and activities to find a nice bubble bath had been drawn for us, or a sweet message on our bed with rose petals. We enjoyed their help so much; we have requested them again during our future stay. The Staff- The staff throughout the resort was amazing. From the wait staff at each restaurant, to the beach staff that made sure your water activities were always available, to the bar staff that made sure your drinks were always full, they were awesome. There were a few members that we wanted to single out because of their interactions with us. First, Quan and O’Ryan are what are called playmakers, and they work in and around the table games area. They specialize in pool and ping pong. They also are part of the entertainment shows each night and are excellent at what they do. Quan is an amazing dancer, and O’Ryan can really sing! We spent some time playing pool with them and enjoyed their conversation at different times around the resort. Another staff member that we wanted to talk about was Merial. My wife and I enjoyed a candlelight dinner on the beach, and Merial was our personal waitress. She did an exceptional job and was a delight to talk to. I highly recommend the candlelight dinner if you visit this wonderful resort. A few more members I would like to discuss are Leo and “The Captain” from the snorkel boat. This boat would go out about every hour and was easy to jump on. These two were absolutely hilarious the whole time and made sure you enjoyed your time on the water. We were even able to sign up for a special night snorkel with them and saw some really amazing wildlife. I highly recommend doing this as well! Photographers – They are all over the resort and make sure you do not have to worry about carrying around a camera. At times it might seem like they are constantly asking to take your picture, but you can just simply tell them no. They are just trying to make sure you do not miss out on any opportunity to capture the moment. Our favorite photographers were Martin and Keron. These guys were funny and did such a great job, we ended up purchasing several of their photos. They also have amazing memories. Once you tell them your room number once (that is how they know who the photos belong to), they will always remember it. This came in so helpful as they would just snap random candid shots of us and we never knew until we went through our photos before we left. The Excursions – We took the YS Falls and Appleton Estate excursion and were very happy with our experience. The falls were beautiful. We were able to take several pictures along the way up the falls and even enjoyed a nice rope swing at the top that dropped you into the falls! So memorable! The tour of the Appleton Estate where they make the famous Rum was neat. We were even able to sample the goods (rum) and had a delicious island style lunch. One thing I wanted to note, the excursion time you see online does not include the drive time. We were expecting about a 4 ½ hour day and it ended up being closer to 8 ½ hours. Please keep that in mind when planning anything else for the day to include dinner plans! The Restaurants – There are several restaurants on property and each one was excellent. Each one has a signature dish that you should try, and they even have their own signature drinks! My favorite signature drink was at the Sundowner (Caribbean Style Food). It was a pineapple Rum Martini and it was so good. The stir fry at Kaminos was one of our favorite dishes from the trip. For lunch there were several options daily, but my favorite was the shrimp pizza! The Spa – My wife and I scheduled a couple massage. We chose the Night Blooming Jasmine Massage and were not disappointed. We opted for the 90 min as well to take full advantage of the pampering. Our therapists Laverne and Eunice did an exceptional job and even provided some tips to do at home to help relieve the tensions we had in different parts of our body. We highly recommend using them if you get the chance! COVID Protocols – The resort did a great job with all of their COVID protocols. There were sanitization stations everywhere and at the entrance to every restaurant, office, or shop. The staff was fully masked up at all times and were very professional when they kindly reminded you to sanitize before entering anywhere. We loved Sandals Negril so much that we plan on returning very soon! If you have been on the fence about traveling to Jamaica, I say go for it. Jamaica was the 47th country I have traveled to and easily topped the list! So in love with this country and it’s people!
