Stayed here in 2006 and loved it and it as the same if not better this time around. Clean, friendly, good service. The pools and slide really make it. The boat ride to the parks make it a great location. We just did the garden room view which is the best value for money. Also, we spent a lot of time in the smaller pool which was a great way to escape the noise. No issues getting a chair and the water depth was still low enough for a seven year old. Great park and hotel.

Three weeks holiday "from great to not so great "

The hotel location is amazing, its so close to Epcot, it makes access perfect, this is the best part of the hotel. Location !!! Rooms are nicely themed, however they are on the small side, especially the bathrooms which are very small. We had a family of 5, so used the pull out bed, the child bed was never madet or sheets changed. Also the air conditioning blows directly over the pull out bed, which made sleeping for our youngest veey difficult and cold. Room servicing: Mousekeeping, were lovely and we felt lucky to have a little magic with the towels and the use of cuddly toys on a few occasions to make it look nice. Pool .. it's huge, it's daunting and not for everyone.lots of early towel placing, but pleased to say, they are often cleared away after a couple of hours or so. We preferred the quiet pool for comfort and safety. Lifeguards are fabulous, at the main pool and work tirelessly. Food... We were on the Disney dining plan, breakfast choice was limited at the marketplace, we have previously stopped at Port Orleans and the food options were far better for quick dine. There are two dri k stations for the whole hotel, its not enough ! Beaches and Cream was OK, not the best ice Cream but its ok. Superb food in Epcot, and good service meals on the hotel. Disney dining plan at ESPN..This was the worst meal of our holiday, the children's meal at ESPN was especially poor. They served a hotdog and desert on the same plate at the same time. Food was warm not hot. Our youngest aged 9 was violently sick in the night, as was our older son which lasted for just over 48 hours. But the long term impact on the holiday, lasted much longer. The 9 year old was scared to eat children's meals the rest of our four week holiday. We did have our meal credits refunded for the meal. However the anxiety of being sick again did not stop for our son. We asking to pay for an upgrade to an adult meal for the rest of our stay, this was refused on many levels, concierge, customer services and hotel reception. We were told it was against policy, and passed on to someone else. I should note, we were not asking for a free food upgrade but to pay. Our son was so phobic about children's meals he would only eat off our plates the rest of the holiday, and we would have to test everything to prove it wasnt bad. When I say sick, he was violently sick time after time, during the first 6 - 48 hours. We were especially dissapointed being on the dining plan, that we couldn't change to an adult upgrade. We even offered to pay for adult park ticket but refused. This had a huge impact on the holiday enjoyment for everyone, as food times are a huge part of the holiday experience. We also had an issue with snack at Animal kingdom, we had three bad pineapple/chocolate snacks, we returned to the marketplace I think called Harambe and informed they were bad, they said there was nothing they could do, and go to customer relations. Which we did at the exit, after queuing for ages, we were told there was nothing they could do either and to go to our concierge at our hotel. This wasn't resolved. We were also dissapointed by the children's activities, we didn't want to send our youngest.to a drop and leave club. Most ativities were located by the pool or in the pool, in a deep area, which in the heat of the day, is not a choice I would choose for my children or encourage the smaller children. Right next to the water polo net as well. Previously when we checked this hotel out, we were impressed with the chance to paint pottery, but this has since gone and been replaced with a coffee shop. All in all the location won us over, though we will look at the Swan and Dolphin next time. Its also a shame that we werent listed too when we tried to resolve our problems. The captain is very sweet always welcoming. You can't fail but to have a good time in Disney. But there is some improvement needed.

It is a Disney Resort so of course it is well taken care of. The rooms are a great size and the bathroom as well. Actually very spacious. Not sure if it is all worth the money, I did like it better than the Yacht Club. Can not beat the location to HS and Epcot. Fitness room was a bit small with the 2 resorts sharing it.

We spent 2 weeks at the Beach Club resort recently. This resort was perfect for us due to its location- 5 mins’ walk from Epcot and 25 mins’ walk from Hollywood Studios. The pool is amazing and though there’s not a huge choice for snacks etc in the shop on the ground floor, you’re so close to the Boardwalk and Epcot that this didn’t bother us. The staff are all very helpful, and the room was clean and well maintained. Our view wasn’t great- we looked over a flat roof towards the bus stops- so if this is important to you, maybe think about upgrading.

Wow!!.... this hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Staff are beyond lovely and so helpful. Rooms good size and beds are very comfortable. Epcot less than a 10 minute walk with beautiful views of the board walk. Bus service to all parks every 20 minutes. The pool is fantastic for all ages with very attentive life guards. Will absolutely be booking this hotel for our next Disney trip.
