My husband, I and our grand-daughter arrived on the Magic Bus on Aug. 19 and had pre-checked in. I checked with Bell Service, got my scooter and off we went to our room to drop our carry on's. My husband and I had stayed at the Caribbean three times before and each time in the island of Aruba. This time we had the honor of staying in Jamaica. We were close to the pool which our grand-daughter loved and the bridge that took us to the Old Port Royale. The staff had balloons and a card delivered to our room to celebrate our grand-daughter's birthday (above and beyond what is called for). The housekeeping staff were always ready to work with you if you wanted to sleep in or have a lazy day and we appreciated that. We will be going back to Disney World next year or the year after and once again we will stay at the Caribbean Beach Resort, plus on our next trip the new Skyliner will be up and running from the Resort and we look forward to that. If your looking for an affordable jewel this is one to look at. P.S. We were here for 10 nights and loved every one of them.

This resort is very relaxed. My bed was very comfy. The hotel room was pleasant and updated with a carribean mickey theme. Loved the h20 body and hair product. Our particular block has its own quiet pool area. The main pool area was fun with activities for the kids. Lots of seating with umbrellas. Lots of life guards to watch over the kids. The bathroom in our hotel was a bit dated and the grout around the tub looked dingy. I liked that they had the extra bed you could pull down. My kids are 15 boy, 7 Yr girl, 10 Yr girl and myself so the older 2 kids has their own beds. The coffee maker was sufficient and has mickey branded coffee. Make sure to grab the mixer creamer and sugar from the main lobby area. They also had lemons I put in my water bottle each day at the parks. Disappointed they have this rfd sticker on the drink cups that limits your refills. For the price they should not do this to guests. The in room pizza delivery was nice and helped limit food costs. The store had milk and donuts for a cheaper breakfast option. Sebastians was a great meal we splurged on one night. Disney Springs is very fun and lots of free entertainment. Buses are on the disney my experience app and you can see when they are coming to each stop. Had one issue with housekeeping not coming but called the front desk and was remedied.

    Incredible setting - but a high-mileage model !

This is our thirteenth visit to the Orlando area. We’ve stayed in all sorts of places. Disney is a favourite of ours - it just competes the holiday somehow. Caribbean Beach is classed as a moderate hotel. We’ve found that in the US in general, a room is a room. There’s often not much to choose between them. This is true here. Our room has clearly been well used. Neither sink plug works properly. The shower sounds like it’s going to explode when it starts up - but it works. There’s a good tv - a big flat panel type but the majority of channels are Disney and no Bluetooth connectivity - that’s a bit 1990s these days. There’s a coffee machine but again it’s from the 1990s. But I suspect that most people (us included) are on the Disney Dining Plan so I don’t suppose it’s a deal-breaker for many. At this time we don’t pay to park here, but it’s coming and this will be a deal-breaker for us. We will look at alternatives. To sum up - a good room but with issues. We’ve not reported these issues but I’m sure they’d sort them if we did. The parking thing will stop us returning though. As a complete package (tickets, meal plan, free transportation) Disney is unbeatable provided that you get it at a price that suits you.

My family and I stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort at the end of August 2019. We had done the online check-in and while waiting for our Magical Express bus, I got a notification that our rooms were ready. It took about 75 minutes to get to our hotel, as the bus had to stop off at 3 other resorts plus deal with a heavy Florida rain shower. (Being our 3rd trip to WDW as a family, we knew that the time between airport to hotel might be longer than anticipated) When we finally arrived, I was impressed by the lobby. It was very clean, easy to navigate and smelled sooooooo good. We walked to our rooms, which was over in the Martinique Village and discovered that my husband's and my luggage had already been delivered. (unlike my sister, nephew and mother). We quickly unpacked and headed to the park. Pros: VERY friendly staff and it seemed that everyone took pride in their work. My mother had lost her wrist band in her travels at the airport and Carrie (Cassie maybe?) at the front desk was able to easily replace it. She was very sweet and quickly set my mother's fears aside. Pool area is very nice with lots of lounge chairs and I loved the Banana Cabana! Kathy, the bartender, is AWESOME! Rooms were very clean, comfortable and easy to access with your magic band or MyDisney App. My mother needed distilled water for her C-pap machine and we were able to get that ordered to her room that next day (it was 9:30 pm before she realized she needed some). Prices were reasonable at breakfast and gift shop was convenient for bottles of water, trinkets and picking up your merchandise from the park. Cons: Everyone has made mention of this before but the buses are sometimes late or not on schedule. I think the longest we had to wait was maybe 30 minutes for Typhoon Lagoon. That was fine as we weren't a rush to get there. But the MyDisney App really helped plan the time we had to leave our room to catch the bus to the park. You can do the "Minnie" vans via Lyft or you can do Uber (which we had done for dinner reservations at the Polynesian Resort). The grounds are lovely, the staff is wonderful and if you have some patience on your vacation, this is the perfect resort for you and your family.

We stayed here as a family of four on our 1st trip to Disney this July/August. Check in was simple and quick and we were soon our our way to Trinidad. A good 10 min walk away. We’d asked for a ground floor corner room and this was exactly what we got. We were in a pirate themed room which was cool. We were very near to spyglass grill, which was handy for breakfast early before getting the bus to one of the parks. If getting an early bus, you’re better going to the main Port Royale bus stops than the individual village stops. As the buses always arrive at the smaller ones full. We opted out of housekeeping and kept the room clean ourselves. We still got fresh towels and linen when we requested them. The pools were good and we’ve never seen pools full at 11pm at night, like they are here. Would definitely recommend this resort, even though we only really used it as a sleeping base.
