    We chose this hotel for the great rate offered to Florida residents. The staff was all super friendly. Great transportation system includIng walking distance to the new skyliner. Because of Covid, there was limited food services available. We ordered from the Marketplace on our cellphones . Order was fast but was not applied to our disney bands which caused a problem since we had a credit on our bands. A problem we encountered during our stay was that the air-conditioner did not cool fast enough . We set the temperature at 70 and After being in the room for 5 hours the room was a warm 78. This problem was quickly addressed by the general manager and we were compensated and offered for it to be fixed or swiitch to a different room. Since we were settled in we chose to keep the room and have it fixed. We should have switched for NEW ROOM, because we had the pirate themed room and the beds were the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. First of all the pirate themed beds is full size bed, not queen. The mattress was only a few inches thick and was place on a hard board. It felt like I was sleeping on a plank! I would stay at this resort in the future, but not in the Pirate Ship themed rooms.

    We booked this hotel on a Thurs and arrived on Saturday. I believe it might be the only moderate resort open right now. We've never stayed here, so were looking forward to a new experience. We were in the Jamaica section, building 44. The transportation here is a plus, or at least it worked out great for us. We were a minute walk away from our bus stop, and a short walk to the skyliner for HS and Epcot. The Skyliner has been amazing, so glad they added this option. The walk to the lobby wasn't too bad, but long enough. Food options were disappointing. For such a large resort, you'd think there'd be more. I understand it's Covid, but even on a regular basis. We did enjoy wings at the pool bar (very good), and they did have mobile ordering for the food court (we did not try), but Sebastian's was not open. I don't think they have any other options, even when they are fully open? The room was clean, beds and pillows were comfy. Housekeeping came in twice during our 5 night stay to replenish towels and soap. Our bed was never made. I'm Ok with that. On our last day we decided we would like to stay one day longer. Hubby went to the lobby to check on it and they told us we would HAVE to move to another room. We weren't going to waste a day with that mess so it was a no go. Were they that full or did we get the wrong cast member? As moderates go, we do prefer Coronado or the French Quarter, but we did enjoy our stay.

    Better after renovations!

    I stayed here in September 2018, and then again in August 2020. When we visited in 2018, this resort was going through some major renovations, and at that time I would not have recommended it. NOW, however, it's GREAT!!! They are taking all the proper precautions for COVID-19, masks, hand sanitizers, social distancing, loved it! We loved the new lobby with the gift shop and food court connected. The food was ordered through mobile ordering, fast and convenient. The rooms we stayed in were in the Jamaica section, closest to the Skyliner and that was convenient. Make sure to recommend this!!! Just outside our door and a short walk to get on the Skyliner, which takes you to Hollywood Studios or Epcot. Rooms were as expected, which we do love the consistency. The housekeeping came in every other day, which was communicated well. Disney really does do a nice job, and this resort is no exception.

    Most relaxing resort at Epcot.

    This resort is the best because it is close to Epcot, has a skyliner over to Epcot and Hollywood Studios in minuets. Buses all day and night, pool bar with steel drum music by the mail pool along with a private pool in each section. A quiet resort with a lot of food selections.

    Get away to the Caribbean at WDW

    We spent 4 nights at the Caribbean Beach Resort the week before Labor Day weekend. We stayed in the Barbados section (a big thumbs up). The room had been renovated and was nicely decorated. Upon arrival the room looked thoroughly cleaned and stocked with the necessities. The bed was very comfortable. They no longer clean rooms during your stay but replenish anything that you may need. We've stayed at value, moderate, and deluxe resorts at WDW. This resort is no more or less noisy than any of the others. It really depends upon the families near your room and the location of your room. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The Marketplace, bar, main pool, and store really take you to the Caribbean. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The pools for various sections were clean, full of clean towels, and inviting. Social distancing at the pool and elsewhere is very evident. I'd like to give a shout out to Mandy from Miami. She is part of the pool staff and goes to the various pools to sanitize the tables, chairs, and check on the pools. She was very friendly and did a great job! The sky liner transportation was fantastic! Surprisingly cooler from the breezes given the heat during the day. The only downside for this resort was the food. I didn't care for it, but my husband did. A very minimal selection in both of our opinions. Do check on your food order. Sometimes the the mobile order app. glitches and doesn't let you know when your food is ready for pick up. We would definitely stay there again!
