Don’t go

This is not a do over. The pics are misleading and the actual hotel looks nothing like them. - check in took 45 min waiting in line after which we were told there was a 90$ additional fee for resort fee and parking. - pretty sure half of Orlando came here just to use the pool and it’s not actually ppl staying here - there are two pools and at neither pool where we able to find even one pool chair to put our stuff at nor were there any towels. - One of the pool bars advertised on the website was totally closed - there’s typical rules like no diving, but there were kids diving in the 4 foot section and splashing pool water in my drink but there is nobody there to enforce any pool rules - supposedly smoking is only in parking lots, but people were definitely smoking at the pool and not just cigarettes marijuana too - it took 15 minutes to get hot water out of the shower So

AVOID IF NOT LEAVING EARLY MORNINGS

Be aware!! - Your room will be LOCKED at 10am no mater what! I confirmed late check out for 1pm but despite that my room keys stopped working at 10am - was unable to go in my room after the pool swim all wet no cloth change - out in the cold wind. Security only came after 2 calls and 20 minutes wait to open my room. Unacceptable! They will also charge you A LOT for everything: - $55 Resort Fee - $27.50 Parking Fee (even if you did not park there) - $6.50 for bottle of water - $23 for small breakfast - $35 if you forget to return the pool towel (per person!) - and so on. It's called resort, but in reality it's an oversized hotel surrounded with park lot, and 2 pools between the buildings. One pool is mostly for small kids, with splash area and slides on the other side. Second pool is normal pool and jacuzzi. Note that second opens at 10am, and normal check out time is 10am - so you won't be able to use it early mornings before you leave the property. Prices at the Marketplace eateries are about double on everything. Nothing special except the prices! If you not leaving for Disney or other parks early mornings and returning late nites - this hotel won't be very good choice. For families with kids that in Orlando for the theme parks (and not looking to utilize hotel amenities) it could be OK as most rooms are 1-bedroom with extra sleeping accommodation. Although rooms are smaller than normal US size. There were no pots and pans in the room although they should provide them for stovetop cooking. Very few utensils... Was charged parking fee although did not have a car and notified front desk about it on arrival, still waiting for refund from the hotel. Front desk staff is poorly trained. Management is not very accommodating as well if any problems arise. Use IHG app messaging for faster response. Once more: Be aware!! - Your room will be LOCKED at 10am no mater what!

Spring break 2024

Everything was nice. The only problem was the tub backing up with water whenever the shower was used. We could not get the tub to drain properly so we spaced out showers.
