10th Visit - can’t wait for 11th First the positives bc there are NO negatives. Once again I am wowed. I continue to judge all other hotels by this one which sets the standard. Amazing. I know there are some smaller rooms - we ALWAYS take the 880 sq ft room - trust me- it makes all the difference in the world. Get a room with a view, too - I like the pond views - but many would rather have the golf course view. This time of year there are Christmas trees and other festive decorations making the grounds that much more awesome. How do they do it? We went to the pool for an hour and in that time they managed to perfectly clean the room! Each day was like that - once they managed to clean while we were at the gym! All other hotels the staff will bother you - here you never even know they are here - unless you need them - we couldn’t figure out the DVD player and a minute after our phone call the were there. Awesome gym. Awesome grounds. Awesome location. Awesome bed and bedding- washer and dryer in room w full kitchen - better than home!-google Minerva street if you are going Xmas season and spend a few minutes seeing locals’ take on Cmas - 10 minute drive - a lifetime memory. Stay at this hotel - you will be very very very happy!! Don’t forget to visit the turtles, rabbits, and ducks!!

We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed it. The room was redone maybe 5 years ago and is comfortable. It was in a convenient location. We parked close by the building we stayed in and could walk to the restaurant for breakfast. The restaurant is very good. The breakfast buffet ($30) was very nice but pricey. Didn’t use it but the pool looked good and golf was quite good (Dye course). Just stayed at the Marriott Desert Springs and it was fine but I thought Mission Hills is better. We had to walk forever to get to our room at Desert Springs. Breakfast at Desert Springs is Starbucks.

    Pleasant all around

I've been here before and continue to enjoy this property. I generally do not take advantage of the amenities as I visit primarily for a bridge tournament. Staff tries to be very accommodating. Staff are pleasant. Accommodation is very comfortable. Rooms are spacious. Restaurant on site, Pinzimini, is very good, with excellent breakfast buffet, and diverse menu for lunch and dinner. Reasonably priced and excellent wine list!! I'll be back!!!

    Glad we didn't stay overnight

We went to an event here over the weekend. We decided not to stay st this location because we thought it was overpriced for a family (no free internet, breakfast, or parking). On the positive side, they did have lovely Christmas decorations. On the negative side, it was kind of dirty with overflowing trash cans in the ballrooms, and some rooms with no trash cans at all. We were busy at our event all day so could only grab a quick bite for lunch, and were very happy to have a place to buy food right at the ballroom area-except that they took cash only and there's no ATM on the property (is this the 70s?) We had enough cash to buy a hot dog, but the ketchup bowl with the little ketchup packets was empty so we asked if we could have some ketchup to put on our hot dog-the 2 employees behind the table proceeded to get into a loud verbal altercation arguing which one would have to go in the back to fetch the castup. One of them finally gave in and got it for us. SO, from our experience of the service and cleanliness, we do not regret our decision to stay elsewhere!

We visited last week for 7 days and had the best time. It was me, my husband and our 2 children ages 4 and 6. We also met our Grandparents here for a portion of the trip to celebrate my Grandpa's 88th and my son's 6th birthday. This resort is amazing! The Staff was so thoughtful and delivered fresh fruit, 2 chocolate cakes and 2 chilled bottles; 1 champagne for the adults and 1 apple cider. Both birthday boys were delighted. Our room was spacious, the restaurant for many of our meals was delicious, and the grounds were beautifully manicured. What I enjoyed most about this trip was the wonderful staff. The Manager Tom does a great job leading and everyone we encountered had the autonomy to do right by the Guest. In traveling with kids, time is a premium and any issues/requests I had were resolved swiftly, efficiently and made the vacation flow with no wasted time. I felt recognized as a Titanium Guest and enjoyed all the events this resort put on including the Hot Air Balloon show and live jazz concert, the feeding of the the turtles, ducks and koi fish, mini golf, bike riding and the pool. Thank you so much for giving us a great family trip to remember. We look forward to our next stay.
