Great resort. The food is great. No negative comments to say about that! The staff is as great. They are holding the place together. The resort is also very clean (including public bathrooms) I suggest asking for a balcony when you reserve. I had a lovely experience.

Beautiful resort, really good food, friendly and excellent staff. Everything on the resort is very close together so you don’t have to walk too far to get from your room to other parts. And they really cared about making your stay the absolute best it could be, can’t wait to come back

We stayed here March 28 - April 4, 2024 and loved our stay! It is a much smaller resort than you may have come to expect in places like Punta Cana or Playa del Carmen, but that’s one of the things we loved. You are never far from the beach or pool, and you get to meet a lot of cool people. We would certainly recommend this resort. Would definitely suggest booking a room with a balcony - was surprised when our first room did not. They were able to accommodate the next day though. Three à la carte restaurants - Chinese, Italian and Seafood. We did the Chinese and Italian and both were good. Always something good to eat at the buffet for every meal. Lots of fresh fruit and breads, along with deli meats, cheeses, omelette bar, pasta making station and so much more. There are two main pools - one is the pool with the swim up bar, which is about 3 feet deep. The other is deeper. There is also a quiet pool which we did not use. Pools were kept clean. Pool area has tons of shaded spots available if that’s what you need! The beach is amazing, with a great beach bar and lots of chairs. Waterfront was kept very clean. You can walk forever along the beach front, seeing the other resorts and enjoying the sunshine. There are some vendors on the beach, but they are not pushy. The entertainment/recreation department was top notch. Loved it. Especially loved the beach party and lovers night. They did water polo, volleyball, drinking games and more during the day. Fun to participate or watch. There is a mall down the street (walkable) which has a sports bar (they play Leafs and Canadiens games), small grocery store, tattoo parlors, clothing and souvenir stores. There are also two casinos walkable from the Bluebay, the bigger one being near the Marien. The golf course is beautiful and just across the street as well. Sirena (kind of like Walmart) is in town if you’re going there anyway, and has everything you need. We used USD on resort and off. The downsides of this resort are small and common: we had issues with our key cards (we just couldn’t get more than one to work at the same time). the mini fridge isn’t stocked daily, you’ll only get canned beer on your first day. And then you’ll have to ask for bottled water on other days. Wi-Fi didn’t work in our room , but was okay otherwise.

My husband and I were there for three weeks, and I wish we could stay longer. BlueBay is truly our home away from home. The food again was outstanding, the dining room staff (Elvin & Lola) are amazing. They truly made sure we were taken care of. Pablo at the black & white bar always made sure we had our favorite drinks along with Franklin at the pool bar! The best bartenders ever! Our rooms were always clean, and I loved the little flowers that were always left on my bed for us. So sweet! There was always something to do there, rain or shine! The amazing entertainment crew made sure you were never bored, kept dancing and always made sure you had a smile on your face. Thank you to George, Alfredo, Perla, Edwin, Kelvin, Lisa and Jesus, you guys really go above and beyond to make sure that all the guests are happy and really make us feel like family! Can't wait to see you all again!

The hotel was as expected and it was a nice welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and always checked in to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. The entertainment was amazing. Jesus and Edwin were great entertainers and very outgoing.
