    Nice Resort

    The Resort was nice however too many kids for our taste. Making reservations at the restaurants was a bit of an issue. Alfonso who was our waiter at the Mexican Restaurant - Las Paloma’s I think - was an exceptional waiter. We insisted on him to serve us dinner and he never disappointed. The lobby bar was a great place to get a drink. Dalia and Edison gave such great customer service!!! The staff - bartenders and waiters - at the Members Beach Bar were so amazing. We could not have asked for better service and spent many hours there.

    i really enjoyed staying at the marival emotions resort . There is plenty of space to walk around on the resort . The pools are big enough never too crowded . The animation crew was great kept us entertained . the nightly shows were nice . Genaro was great and sexy brian the did a great job . we went on a bike tour with genaro that was nice . the rooms were spacious we stayed in a two bedroom suite . our room was always clean. the food was great the restaurants were all good. the beach was easily accesible , and you could go in the water . the water was always warm .I highly recommend this resort .

    I had a wonderful vacation at Marival Emotions! I traveled with 4 kids ages 11-16, and two adult friends. I purchased the Family Emotion package and highly recommend. Our concierge Karina was in touch with me before trip to help schedule the a la carte restaurants and to select my preferences for my Family Emotion package. Resort is very large but easy to navigate. I had a beautiful two story suite in building 4 that had a stunning view of ocean and two of the pools. Suite was very spacious and had two balconies. Housekeeping was great. We went to three of the a la carte restaurants. La Bamba, Las Palomas and Amfali. The food was great at all three our favorite being Las Palomas. We had a incredible server at Amfali that I will never forget! He did a bunch of tricks with balancing things on toothpicks that my kids loved. His name was Jose. We also really like a server we had at Las Palomas, I think his name was Alonzo. (I’m not sure so I’m attaching a picture so he gets proper credit??) Buffet food is good, tons of choices. There’s a kid buffet with chicken nuggets and fries if you have picky kids. One thing that was disappointing was that the towel counter closes at 7:00pm. So if you get settled in late on your arrival day you can’t get a towel. It’s really only a problem on the first day but it was a bummer. Another thing that many others have said is the pool chairs get saved very early. Impossible to get chairs sometimes. Beach and all pools expect adult pool are packed by 10:00 am. We started just going out later in the day and it helped a little. We absolutely loved the nightly entertainment. It was a nice way to end each day. I highly recommend the on site photographers they did an excellent job. There wasn’t a single person that was not friendly. Check in and check out were very easy. I’ll attach photos of my view and of our awesome server.

    Resort was actually bigger than I though it’d be but it lacked anything spectacular. Best part was our family suite. Two bedroom/ two floor suite was amazing. Only thing was that it was super far away from the pools, but that allowed for a bit of quiet. The food was sub par. Best thing was the pizza place during the day. Only thing our kids actually enjoyed. Overall it was fine but nothing special. For the price it was sufficient .

    2019 trip to Marival

    I took my sons and 7 of thier friends with me this year to Marival. It was very important to me that all of them recieved the best Marival had to offer as I am a Platimum member. I arrived a day early to insure all was arranged and it was for the most part. I had reserved a 2 bedroom ocean view suite for 5 of us. We were NOT given an ocean view and told those were only given when "available". As I had made these reservations well in advance this was distressing. Then to find it was a 3 floor walk up was another irritation. But when my son and his friends arrived they loved it and we moved on. (I have seen another review here complaining about the items left in the refrigerators in the rooms. This was not our experience. A young man with multiple bags came every day, sometimes twice a day and offered beer, soda and bottle water. All our rooms were fully stocked at all times.) The one bedroom suite I reserved for another couple was on the ground floor near the Adult only pool and quite lovely. The maid, Adrianna, was very caring and professional. She made sure the room was clean and turned down the bed every night while we were out. The studio rooms I reserved were also well stocked and clean. WE LOVED the La Bamba steak house and went there serveal times. GUILLELMO is the BEST. He and his partner were flexible with our orders and there were 9 of us and some people upon seeing what others ordered requested additional items. Our wine was constantly refilled without any requests and we were given QUITE a show wtih the after dinner coffee drinks, GUILLELMO went out of his way to give my son and I a lovely table on our last night. He made the reservation himself after speaking iwth us the previous night as he was leaving at 11pm. He remembered our orders and was quite attentive to all. I even saw him explaining something to a little girl and giving her the same undivided attention he gave all adults. Can not say enough about him! We also Love Alan at Amalfi as he too was attentive and able to handle our large group with grace. He acknowledged us as we saw him around the property and made us feel like family. Ceasar at the Mai Tai was the best! The lemon drop martinis got stronger as the day went on! Every day our food orders were brought quickly and were fabulous. I was a bit put out by not being offered drinks as we lounged in our cabanas but as it happened every day, I think I must have given the impression I did not need that service this year as in the past? But actually going up to a table was better and Ceasar always made sure we had shade and service there. All in all, I love Marival and all the staff (aside from reservations that is difficult to deal with from time to time.) I do feel the minimums are a bit over done as I paid for 4 days of fees when people were not actually on property. As a Platinum member bringing over 20 people in the past 3 years to the property I would expect some kind of consideration in this situation.
