    Resort has recently been updated and everything was clean and kept up. Going in mid May was great because they were only at about 60% capacity. We booked a 1 bedroom suite and were provided an upgrade of an additional room that our 2 daughters stayed in. The added privacy was appreciated. The pool bar staff - Rock and Roll Alex, Happy Lissander and Polaco were all great and should be commended for keeping up all day long. House keeping did a great job and my wife loved the daily flower additions. The mini fridge was stocked daily with water, soda and beer. The food at the restaurants was decent but I would not of been happy if I paid the full $160 per day all inclusive rate that is charged during busier seasons. The Brazilian Steak House was very good and we ate their twice during the week. The steaks at the Tex/Mex restaurant were thin and not very good but their buffet wings were delicious. The normal buffet is what you should expect from a buffet.

    Fantastic holiday, but some places need improvement

    Very nice place for a holiday. Dominican Republic is good for families, food is good, weather is always good, warm water. About the hotel - good variety of food and restaurants. Staff sometimes looked very tired and fed-up. They have a big problem with communication, not the language, but care of guest. If you need to get something be ready to ask 4 TIMES at least! Happed to us twice, after we didn't bother anymore :) first we just wanted to get our room cleaned, kept asking all day till it got cleaned around 9pm, next we only wanted to ask about internet connection - they just kept putting the phone down on us?? same now, we left some items at the hotel, send 3 emails already - still no reply! Needs big improvement in this area. When we arrived sofa was not made for our daughter. The hotel is newly refurbished, every where is clean. Amazing views. Good beach. Great service at the beach collecting all empties. Evening shows where good, especially circus show. We have tried all the restaurants, the best where italian and japanese. We traveled trough TUI, Sandro tui rep was great. Tui excursions where a bit overpriced, but we booked trough them anyway, didn't want to risk booking outside the hotel. Saona, outback and buggies. We liked all of them.

    This past week May 9 – May 15 I stayed at the Grand Sireins Tropical Suites the resort is a beautifully maintained property but there are a couple of oddities to be aware of in advance. First the food, anyone with any dietary restrictions should be cautious and plan out meals. The buffets at the resort were clean and well stocked with very friendly wait and kitchen staff and while there was always a wide variety of choices for all sorts of dietary restrictions the food labelling was sometimes unclear. All items have a tag that has the item name in English, Spanish, and French which is excellent but if you don’t know what an item is its difficult to know if it will fit with your diet. The resorts accessibility for dietary restrictions really shone in the a la carte restaurants where all menus are translated in English, French, Spanish, and Russian that also have little icons indicating vegan, gluten and, nut menus items. I would recommend the resort use these same icons in the buffet items or that those with dietary restrictions use the restaurants more than the Buffett. Next, the cleaning, the resort, on the whole, was very well kept with gorgeous landscaping and very clean facilities but room cleaning was somewhat unpredictable. Some days our room was cleaned before noon and other days it wasn’t cleaned until after 4 PM. Some days we had three bath towels, two hand towels, two face cloths, and a foot matt and other days we had two towels and face cloth. It was quite difficult to figure out what to do to ensure we had the right number of towels while the rooms were very clean the towel situation was somewhat confusing. Last the entertainment, the resort has the entertainment team operating under the name Animacion Superteam which really wasn’t very super at all. They had a well-planned out schedule of activities day by day to keep people busy but often didn’t take proper precautions to mitigate risk in their games that often seemed reckless in the pool. While the staff were all very pleasant, I want to especially thank Miguel and Michael Jackson and a number of the female dancers who went out of their way to say hello to me throughout the trip and make the experience memorable. The shows; however, were very unmemorable, while there were a number of dancers in the company who were clearly extremely talented their talents were not showcased in my opinion a manner doing them any justice. The shows were lacklustre with the use of tacky pyrotechnics and songs that often-had applause in the track which was very confusing. If I could provide a recommendation it would be to do more of what they know, the Latin show was by far the best show that I saw with singers singing in their natural language and dance that most of the dancers grew up doing. Going to a tropical destination is as much about experiencing a small piece of the culture as it is relaxing in the sun and the best way to do that is through showcasing natural Latin talent. I lastly, would advise against having the entertainment manager coming out at the end of every show to awkwardly introduce every member of the company by name, this felt very unnatural and “showboaty” for the audience and the dancers looked clearly uncomfortable. Also calling out guests as they are getting up to go to the bathroom or leave the theatre by the manager is in my opinion completely unacceptable and shows the manager knows very little about live performances. In conclusion, the Grand Sirens is an absolutely stunning resort that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a tropical vacation. If resort management makes a number of small changes, I really feel that this could be a five-star resort but without pushing themselves to excellence they will remain as a very nice four-star destination.

    The Grand Sirenis in Punta Cana is just that, GRAND. My husband and I just returned from a great week and wanted others to know more about this great resort. Our room, a suite in building 42 across from the pool and close to the beach, was beautifully decorated, with a stocked mini bar with a variety of sodas, water and beer. The cleaning staff were amazing, not only did they keep the room clean but would create towel animals and flower decorations. Upon our arrival there was a fruit plate and champagne waiting for us! The beach and pool are great. Lots of chairs and palapas. Beach bbq and beach buffet. Animation team was always doing something with the guests. The resort has done many updates to the entire resort since our last visit. The lobby area and beach buffet for lunch has been totally remodeled and is so NICE! They have built other spaces: a plaza for a new music venue, a sports bar for fans and a coffee shop with yummy desserts and special coffees. These areas only add to the nightly shows and other entertainment options. The Ala Carte restaurants were great and did not require reservations, only the Brazilian and Japanese. The buffet was also remodeled and was like going to a nice restaurant. Ana and Juana and their big smiles got our day off to a great start each day at breakfast. During the day Marina and Jose and guest services were there to help in any way to ensure we had a great vacation. I highly recommend the Grand Sirenis in Punta Cana for a wonderful vacation. For families it also has a water park available to guests!

    Stayed at the resort for 2 weeks for my neices wedding which was held on the beach.stunning to say the least. The rooms were spacious and spotless,beds were huge and super comfy. Staff were excellent especially sonia romirez at the pool bar. The variety of food was excellent though i didn't like the Italian or Mediterranean restaurants. But u always had the buffet to fall back on. Gardens were fab all in all i would highly recommend this jotl for families or couples and cant wait to go back
