Exactly what we expected and we all came home happy
BriE1976 (New York City, New York) on Apr 19, 2024
From the moment we arrived, we were all impressed with the beauty of the resort. The common areas are all kept beautifully and it seems there is always someone tending to something (like the pools, the vegetation, painting something worn, etc ) it was impressive to see the care with which they upkeep the resort. We traveled as family with two teens (13 and 15) and stayed in a family suite which is a connecting king room and a connecting double room. It was perfect for us. The minibar was refreshed each day with drinks. We did eat the snacks, but those were not replenished over the course of our stay. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were comfy. Housekeeping comes every day if you want. We used both the beach and the pool. The ocean was beautiful and there is a lot of care to keep things pristine. The pools are beautiful, but be warned: I know the PR person posts that people aren’t supposed to save chairs, but they do. And by 8am, you will not find a chair that hasn’t been saved. We did speak with a pool concierge about it and he told us to come back and see him in an hour and he’d find us a chair. One chair for the four of us. So, we just put our towels on some rocks and swam instead. We were there for six hours and no one ever came back to claim an entire row of at least 12 chairs. That was the case every single day. “Claimed” chairs that were never used. I know it’s the guests that are selfish, but I do think the resort needs to be proactive in clearing them. Send the message that saved chairs get cleared and people won’t do it. Seems easy enough. The food was okay. We tried a few different restaurants but all agreed that the buffet was the best out of all of them. Service was outstanding everywhere, but the quality of the food was just adequate. Nobody starved, but nobody raved. And that’s totally in line with my expectations for an all inclusive. I was TOTALLY impressed with the resort’s commitment to the environment. No single use plastics is wonderful. And also most likely why the beach isn’t littered with plastic bottle tops. All in all this was a very good family vacation. We all came home happy and would likely return.
Pickleball in Paradise!

Went with a group of pickleball players for 5 days. Could not ask for a nicer facility or friendlier staff. Our concierge, Paola, gave us VIP treatment in every respect...making reservations, answering questions, and just going out of her way to make us feel welcome. We stayed in the Lindo section. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Food was plentiful and delicious, both at the buffet and the restaurants. The pools had plenty of lounge chairs and not crowded at all.
