The hotel is nice but the overall experience was negative as I was charged for a room upgrade which I neither requested nor was offered upon check in. I guess this is a way to squeeze out a few extra bucks from each customer. Not recommended.

Great customer service, not so great amenities. The ceiling had water damage. Musty smell. The curtains were dirty. The blackout curtain had duct tape, it had rips and tears. The pool is very nice but it's not hot enough, it was empty our entire stay. It's tough because it's outdoor.

The Hyatt Regency is an amazingly modern hotel with an excellent location (just a few steps to the Ferry Building, the Embarcadero and the Cable Car stop.). We were here for a conference and the meetings rooms were comfortable and the AV and sound were excellent.

I stayed here just for the night in transit for my next international flight. The room was really nice overlooking the bay. Decent size with very comfortable bed and all amenities that I would need. Check-in was a breeze. The gentleman at the counter was very gracious and checked me in early. Thank you to John, the doorman who helped me load my bags when I left. He was very kind, very courteous to me and every other guest that was waiting for a pickup. Hotel is in a good location with some sites of interest that you could walk to. Will definitely be back

Located in a great area and great service! My room had a very nice view of the bay. Everything was very comfortable. Special shout out to Curtis (the assistant front office manager) who was extremely helpful! I’ll definitely stay here again.
