We don’t recommend to book his hotel. I and my wife were on the business trip for us and canada. our last stop was Toronto. We travelled from last 12 days. We came to Toronto from montreal by car its a long journey. The check in was smooth. Rooms were good. After long journey i want to sleep but we can’t sleep because of the noise of our neighbours.. When we complained the hotel they change our room but they aren’t sure that about the noise. Its was shocking when they said like this. We changed my room but still have noise when the people were talking in their rooms. We don’t recommend this hotel. When you walk in the corridor you can listen the voice from the another rooms

From the warm welcome, to the cleanliness, professionalism of the staff, the can-do attitude, comfortable beds and pillows, thickness of the towels, design of the room and washroom - everything was classy! One of my favorite parts of a stay at a Fairmont is the distinct smell as soon as you walk in, as well as in the rooms. It's always a pleasure an a privilege to stay at the Royal York. Congratulations to the staff!

Absolutely perfect stay. Staff so friendly and willing to help you out with anything! Amazing place to stay hotel was stunning and all decorated for Easter. Very close to scotia bank centre as we were there to go to hockey game. It was accessible for me on a power chair through vallet entrance.

Overall, I thought the hotel was way too expensive for what it actually gave you. My hotel room (apparently a "luxury room") was tiny, dark, and had no views. It was also almost a mile away from the elevator, which felt very bizarre--this is also after you walk a lot in the lobby to get to the elevator bank on the other side of the hotel. My experience began badly--I came in with what was obviously a heavy suitcase. At least two bellhops watched me while I dragged it up a very tall flight of stairs, obviously struggling. Not once did they ask me if I needed help. The Wi-Fi was almost impossible to connect to, and the Chromecast didn't work until my last night there. There were NO signs for the hotel and pool. I decided I wanted to go to the pool after a long day, but could not find it and--completely exhausted--gave up. My last morning, I went down to breakfast--which was provided in the room fee. At no point on my trip had anyone told me I needed to make a reservation for breakfast. When I came downstairs, they told me they had no more room for me. Which was quite bizarre because I later discovered at least half of the tables were empty! I had to argue with them a lot to get seated in the adjacent room, and they made it sound like they were doing me a favor. They wanted me to just go to the bakery and get a pastry--they also refused to provide room service as an alternative to their "apparently" over-crowded restaurant. They charge way too much to just offer a pastry for breakfast. I do want to name a couple of great people though--Chris, the bartender in the Library Bar, is absolutely amazing. He's talented and great to talk with. The employee who brought me room service my first night was great. The bell hop who helped me carry boxes down to a car was also courteous and helpful. Overall: not worth the cost.

The hotel was very clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. All the service personnel we interacted with were super attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and very comfortable. You can't beat the location, Its right smack in the middle of DT Toronto so offers great value for the money.
