We stayed for 2 weeks in March/april. Food was expected from the reviews and it’s Cuba. I am not sure what people expect beyond that. Hotel is tired and dated but clean. The Cuban friendliness was not especially present in the hotel. Pool area and sunbeds was plentiful , no problems with getting a bed. Infinity pool was beautiful. There wasn’t always glasses available for drinks and consistency lacked with cocktails. Short walk to 2 lovely beaches. Single biggest issue was the rudeness of one particular nationality who are not only rude but arrogant, objectionable and aggressive. A fight broke out at a BBQ because they were pushing in which resulting in children being scared. They epitomised their stereotype sadly they hotel do nothing to manage this. It does what it says on the tin. Would I return to Cuba yes, that hotel no as the location is a bit far out from Varadero. The rest of it I could deal with given my expectation it’s a 3 star and the price reflected that.

We have been to Cuba 8 times and our second time at Playa Vista which is now our favourite place. We arrived back to Canada this week and already planning our next stay! We love everything about this resort, Staff, drinks, Coffee Bar, Food, Rooms, Beaches, pools, entertainment are ALL amazing! We stayed in the premium section and totally worth the extra money! Arasay and premium staff will go above and beyond to accommodate your stay! We Recommend booking your next vacation at this hotel! You will not regret it!

Where do I start with how amazing this resort is!? The location, closer to the airport, so the bus ride isn’t that bad, half hour or so. Then The staff!!! They are the ones that make the stay amazing. From the easiest check into the premium building with Rene, to the maids I wish I could remember their names. Then! The entertainment staff!! Oh my Junior is the life of the party!! He made sure my group was always smiling!! He’s an amazing person, with amazing energy. I’m already planning my next trip back to this resort!!

Very fun hotel, I really liked the animation and training of the hotel. The beautiful beach I really liked the fact that I go have a quiet beach and a beach for fun. Excellent food there are several offers in the snack, buffet and restaurants. ??

Everything is amazing, sunsets , time with family was great. Staff AMAZING!! DANAYS very accommodating. No complaints ?????????????????????????????????????????????? Great food! amazing beaches. Unbelievable music!! White party best time ever!!! Bbq get there early as it’s amazing!
