Pre-purchase menu

To see if pre-purchase is available on your flight, log in to the pre-purchase site using your name and WestJet reservation code to see your flight(s), guest(s) and menu information.

Pre-purchase is offered on most flights over 2.5 hours departing from: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax and St. John’s.

Pre-purchase may be available for flights returning from select U.S. and international destinations.

Pre-purchase is available on our Boeing 767 aircraft on flights to and from Hawaii and London (Gatwick).

Pre-purchase is not available on flights to and from Cuba and the Dominican Republic.

Pre-purchase is only available on flights operated by WestJet. Flights operated by our code-share partners are not eligible for pre-purchase. 

If you are unable to log in to view menu options on your flight, or are receiving an error message, it may be due to one of the following reasons:

  • Your flight departs in less than 48 hours. Pre-purchase menu order must be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to the departure of your flight, in your departing city’s time zone.
  • Pre-purchase is not available on flights to and from the Dominican Republic and Cuba.
  • Your departure city does not offer pre-purchase meals. Pre-purchase menu items may not be available for flights returning from select U.S. and international destinations.
  • If you are looking to make a purchase more than four weeks prior to the departure of your flight, our pre-purchase menu may not be available yet for ordering. Please check back closer to your flight.
  • Pre-purchase is only available on flights operated by WestJet. Flights operated by our code-share partners are not eligible for pre-purchase.

Even though your flight qualifies for pre-purchase, we may have received the maximum number of orders we can offer for that flight.

Pre-purchase orders can be placed for one or more guests travelling on the same reservation code. For example, if you booked for you and your friend, you can pre-purchase for them and yourself.

The order system allows six guests per reservation number. Each guest is able to order one of each product to ensure no duplication errors.

We encourage you to place your order prior to your flight date. We do carry a small selection of buy-on-board items, but cannot guarantee availability. Our pre-purchase menu also offers exclusive items not available on board.

Guests seated in Plus will enjoy premium food and beverages in flight at no additional cost. Selections from the pre-purchase menu are not included in the Plus fare but can be purchased in addition to our inflight offering.

WestJet sent a confirmation email following the order you made online. This email will contain your order information and refund and cancellation polices. Can't find your email? Please contact prepurchase@westjet.com.

To make changes to your order, you must cancel your existing order and place a new one.

If you voluntarily change your flight, please cancel your order at least 48 hours prior to your original scheduled departure time. Cancellations cannot be made after this time and are non-refundable. If you miss your flight due to a modification or change that WestJet has made, you are entitled to a full refund by submitting a refund request. If your flight is delayed, your order will be served. If your flight is cancelled, you will be entitled to a full refund. Unfortunately, orders cannot be transferred to an alternate flight. If you wish to cancel your order or request a refund, click here.

Not to worry! Our inflight cabin crew will locate you, but feel free to notify a crew member to avoid any delays.

When you log into the pre-purchase site using your name and WestJet reservation code, the site will automatically generate what menu items are available on your flight.

Ingredient information can be found on the item's exterior packing on your flight. At this point in time, we do not have nutritional information online.
