WestJet Vacations Price Drop Guarantee

WestJet Vacations Price Drop Guarantee is valid for WestJet Vacations bookings made between July 25 and August 25, 2016 for travel between November 1, 2016 and April 30, 2017.

 Your vacation package must have been booked between July 25 and August 25, 2016 for travel between November 1, 2016 and April 30, 2017.

  The new lower fare must be from westjetvacations.com for the exact same:

  • Departure and arrival city (must originate from Canada)
  • Flight dates and times
  • Number of guests travelling
  • Hotel & room category (minimum 2-night stay required)
  • Meal plan, activities & attractions
  • Fare type (Econo, Flex, Plus)

  The price difference must be at least $50 CAD per person each time a claim is submitted.

  The departure date must be more than 21 days away from the date the lower fare was found.

  The claim must be submitted within 24 hours of finding the lower fare.

Within 24 hours of finding the lower fare, you will need to submit a claim by following these steps:

  1. Ensure you have a unique 9-digit WestJet Rewards ID for everyone on the reservation – in order for us to give back the difference in WestJet dollars, everyone (over the age of 2) must have their own WestJet Rewards account. Not a member? Join now at westjet.com/rewards.

  2. If you would like to submit a claim over the phone, please call WestJet Vacations toll free at 1-877-737-7001.

  3. Or if you would prefer to submit a claim online, please follow the steps below:

    • Take and save a screenshot of the lower fare from westjetvacations.com.

      Your screenshot must include:

      • Departure and arrival city (must originate from Canada)
      • Flight dates and times
      • Number of guests travelling
      • . Hotel & room category (minimum 2-night stay required)
      • Meal plan, activities & attractions
      • Total fare in Canadian dollars
    • To submit a claim, click the button below and sign in to your WestJet Rewards account. Under the Rewards tab, click on ‘Price Drop Guarantee’ and complete the form by providing the following information:

        Confirmation number

        First and last name of all guests on the reservation

        WestJet Rewards IDs for everyone (over the age of 2) on the reservation

Within 10 days, the claim will be reviewed by a WestJet agent and you'll receive an email advising if it was approved or denied.

  If the claim is approved: Within 30 days of completing the entire trip, each person on the reservation will receive a deposit of WestJet dollars into their WestJet Rewards account.1

  If the claim is not approved: You will receive an email with the reason why your claim was not approved. To ensure this doesn't happen to you, double check that the new lower fare meets all the qualifying criteria above, and that your claim submission includes all of the required information.

Yes, this offer is only valid on a minimum 2 night WestJet Vacations package, and is not valid on group bookings.

Yes, the total price of the vacation package must be marketed and displayed in Canadian dollars.

Proof of price change must come from westjetvacations.com

If your claim is approved, the difference in fare will be issued in WestJet dollars1 and credited to each individual guest's WestJet Rewards account. Please allow up to 30 days after the completion of your trip for the WestJet dollars to be deposited.

WestJet dollars will be deposited within 30 days after all flights on the booking have been completed.

WestJet dollars earned in connection with the Price Drop Guarantee will expire 6 months from the date issued, and are non-refundable.

  • WestJet Vacations Price Drop Guarantee is only valid for bookings made between July 25 and August 25, 2016 for travel between November 1, 2016 and April 30, 2017.
  • Offer valid on minimum 2-night WestJet Vacations packages.
  • Not valid on WestJet Vacations group bookings.
  • WestJet Vacations Price Drop Guarantee is valid up to 21 days prior to departure.
  • To qualify for the WestJet Vacations Price Drop Guarantee the lower fare must be for the exact same package as the original booking, including: flight date, flight time, fare type, departure and arrival city, hotel, room category, number of guest(s) travelling, name of guest(s) travelling, meal plan, activities and attractions.
  • Offer valid on packages only.
  • Price change must be for a minimum of $50 CAD on the total price per-person each time a claim is submitted.

  • Package flights must originate in Canada.
  • Total price must be marketed and displayed in Canadian dollars.
  • If your claim is approved, you will be issued in WestJet dollars an amount equal to the value of the price difference.
  • Screenshots must be sent within 24 hours of finding the lower price.
  • Any promotional added values may be forfeited when WestJet Vacations Price Drop Guarantee is exercised.
  • Does not apply to meal plan/activities/attractions outside of the total package price.

  • WestJet dollars will be posted to your account within 30 days after travel on the package has been completed. WestJet dollars amount issued for the Price Drop Guarantee will expire 6 months from the date issued and are non-refundable.
